To be fair to Invictus, this isn't what he was implying the alcohol does at all. He was just arguing that it is easier to meet girls at social gatherings where drinking occurs.

I've never understood that phrase "piss poor". Urine has great healing properties for jellyfish and sea urchin wounds. And if you are ever trapped after a plane wreck in the Andes, drinking urine mixed with melted snow will help you retain much needed body salts.

We are getting enough folks together that we could possibly use one of the online poker sites that offers private games to get a game going. As long as we are all in a cimilar time zone so we can set up a time to do it.

@Invictus, I am a college junior, I have never had a drink in my life, I have plenty of friends, male and female. I'm enjoying school and having fun. And for your information, the hottest girl in my classes refuses to talk to anyone who drinks. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like you're trying a little to hard to justify your drinking.

College is the last 4 years before the giant broom handle that is reality gets shoved up your ass. As long as you get your shit done and be somewhat responsible, drinking is one of the best parts of colleges, it's part of the experience.

When i was at UA I was able to keep my scholarship while partying and working part-time (to facilitate my partying), and I'm a better man beacuse of it. I met friends in college who would later help prop me up in later life.
