Jamie, I had taken care to leave you off my list, but you're definitely right there with me on the "idk how you made it through the purge" meter.

SYnapse was one of the first people who I spoke to when I first joined the site. I never played with him though and I was told later (by bo sox) when I brought him up in 2015 that he was banned.

This will probably be controversial but I will say it anyways. I haven't played with him in a real game yet, but I will admit that I find 2WL to be a bit obnoxious.

I should be on the historically bad list for trolling the forum in 2010-11, but I ended up getting a lot of points behind my name so nobody wants to say it

It is funny that Bo made the list. I met Bo once and I liked him. He struck me as a good person. No one has yet answered my question about SYnaose yet though. What was wrong with him?

@ Civwarbuff: SYnapse's problem was that he opposed any form of forum moderation, and when anyone was silenced or banned, he would appoint himself as their advocate and make long, annoying posts in their defence, even when they had clearly broken site rules on repeated occasions, like Blankflag.

I've read through from page one and there is a "rogues gallery" forming. Naughty Nigee, that Tettleton Chew chump, he whose name shall not be mentioned , the, in my opinion, incredibly stubborn and singularly stupid MeepMeep, after whom I named a similarly stubborn and stupid pet bird Naughty MeepMeep. It's easy to get a "rose tinted view" of them, maybe want them back a tiny bit, but that should be instantly dismissed when we recall.the sins of these rightly banished troublemakers.

Not really my job, but obviously enough to get into serious trouble with the Almighty Mods, I have vague recall of extremely provocative / offensive posts and refusal to moderate / restrain himself. I don't even know if Naughty Nigee was banished or simply left, may the gods protect and keep him safe faraway from WebDiplomacy is my view on him.

It's like he whose name shall not be mentioned, do I want him back, no way, thanks. I can always nip over to VDiplomacy if I wanted to message him etc.
