Sure it is, Jews have been calling it their home for thousands of years. It is their home. When you call your normal "Home" a diaspora it means that you consider somewhere else your real home.

I'm fine to forgive you for saying it, but for me it does emphasise an underlying concern of mine. You can say the fact that Jews uprooted Palestinians to return to Israel was racist, or evil or whatever. You cannot say that Jews did not see Palestine as home. It simply isn't true.

Really? The Palestinians have suffered approximately 1400 casualties. An estimated 40% of those have been children. Some of the pictures coming out of Gaza have simply been heartbreaking.

Furthermore, satellite imagery of Gaza before and after Israel's "targeted" op are shocking. Every building appears to be a target.

The fact is the state of Israel as it exists today was founded by European colonial efforts and zionist terrorism in the region. Palestinians were putting up with jews attacking them for a long time before Israel even came around. Imagine if the US, UN, or anybody else stepped in today and dictated that all Israeli territory was now Hamas'. Do you think Israeli's would quietly step aside and leave? No. They would resist much in the way Palestinians have been doing for decades.

And it's fairly telling that obi has few scant threads or words to say about the outright massacre of civilians and reduction of Gaza itself, but goes into a white blind rage over a single solider being kidnapped, even though that soldier is a legitimate target in this conflict, unlike your average civilian.
