Correct me if I'm wrong, but the American flag is far away from being symmetrical. Where would you draw the axis of symmetry? On the other hand, that "shitty" EU flag, along with the flag of the UK and the Scottish one, are perfectly symmetrical; I've got a hardcore proof, I'm holding the axis exaclty now in my left hand.

The Union Jack is definitely not symmetrical, it has that fucked up Irish cross off-center shit ruining it. The American flag is perfect: fifty perfectly arranged stars, thirteen stripes. That's ten more than the shitty French/German/Irish/whatever flag. Fuck three stripes. Very uninspired design.

@Texastough you are a bit out of touch with reality. The US can't really even afford to pay the troops that are on the ground now. Wonder why stop-loss was put in place a while ago? No cash. Put off the pay cheques, stay out of hot water for now. And also, you want to see who holds the most power now? Look across the pacific. China's got the purse strings. Also, just saying... the US isn't the only one with nukes. It's a big club, and it's growing. Were the US to "just nuke" someone, the US would not survive it. It's the same as with any other country.

Speaking of knockoffs, I got me a second chip set for the poker room the other day and, as they usually do, it came with a couple decks of cards. Bcg playing cards that at a glance look like Bee poker quality from US Playing Card Company (Bee quality is what the casinos all use). These knockoffs are from China but the cover was soooooo similar to Bee. Clearly they were intended to fool the casual observer. the cards themselves are no where near the quality of Bee, but I was getting the chips for the chips, so I'll save them for playing Rummy and Bridge.

I use crap cards for games where money isn't involved. I save the expensive Bees I buy by the box for sit-n-gos and cash games, using two fresh pair every night opened up in front of all the players so nobody can claim the cards were marked or they were cheated.
