Safari (on a mac haven't tried the PC version yet) still doesn't auto scroll to the bottom of chat boxes either.

can you come up with a way of including what time zone people are in it'd help so much when people talk about realtime games etc.. even being able to have some idea when to expect responses to messages and so on..

when im viewing games if i go past the max page i get stuck and have to use the back button... but otherwise everyone else is fine

I think you have a daylight savings time problem with time. I am in the right zone, but the clock is 1 hour off

@Splat that would be incredibly helpful and would help you figure out if people are jsut ignoring you or if they are just asleep.

I've finalized the last two rounds (actually, it finalized for me, since there were no other options). The picture for the game has the "!!" alert on it. I unfinalized, refinalized, and still have the alert image for the game. Can't figure out a way to make it go away.

I tried unfinalizing, updating, refinalizing, still shows the alert at the top of the page (not in the game, but when I see the game tab on, for example, the forum page).

Also, there is a green check in the game... so it is entirely cosmetic (though annoying... I hate not having orders in, so I hate those red "!!" and get them fixed when I see them) ;)

It happened to me too, when I had 0 centres left.

Kestas, could we get a system that tells us what our current chances are of getting a certain country? I don't know the formula, and even if I did, I'd be too lazy to calculate it. :-P

@rlumley - i disagree, i don't think that should be a feature. you should just know that you could get any country, and if you haven't had one in a while, you're likely to get it, but you still might not.

fortknox, I had that happen as well when I was down to 0 centers and 1 unit that had to be disbanded. I'm betting that the !! is indicating that I haven't set any orders which was true. All I did was finalize the default disband order. There was no way to "set" the orders since there was no choice.

So, I have witnessed a few times when a draw has caused what seems to be double the points to be awarded. Specifically, in http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=12447 and http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=12646 . I don't know if this is because I am below 100 , or if this is planned. The message seems to say it is incorrect.

On the double point draw thing, last I heard Kestas was seeing in the logs that the correct number of points are being calculated but they are being credited twice. So at some point he could go back and fix everyone's points but he wanted to figure out why it was happening first. In the meantime, anyone want to put together a 500 seven way draw or two? :)

For the record, if anyone actually put together a game with the sole purpose of getting double the draw points, I would expect them to be banned. So I'm not actually condoning it, just laughing at life.

Would it be wrong to use the fact that draws garner double points as a diplomatic tactic? I'm in a stalemated game in which I am trying my damndest to get a draw agreed upon.

Would be great if there were a small notebox for each game, were you could write things only you can see. I think it could be very useful.

I thought you were going to allow <100 pt playes to also start WTA games... can you please implement that somehow? even if you limit them to 25% of their available points or something... b/c we have way too few WTA games on this site... and the main reason is that its not an option that is readily available...

I am most concerned with the fact that SOOOOOO many playes get used to playing PPSC games and get used to that variant so they dont even consider playing WTA games until MUCH later than they should...

please please please please change this somehow so low-points playes can also start WTA games.

I only have one option left (disband my last unit). I finalized that order, (The box was already grayed in, since it was my only option) but the !! still shows up on the title bar, even though I have the "un-finalize" option.

Just had a thought I thought I would add to this list in case it is simple enough.

I open forum messages in multiple tabs. I just go and open all the ones I want to read with a middle click and then go and read through all of them. But I wish the window/tab header would have the name/subject of the post rather than just "Forum - webDiplomacy". It would be much nicer. Not critical though.
