No I don't care to explain, investigations and conversations concerning players are private and kept between the team and the person in question. If that player decided to post some of the conversation on the forum you can assume correctly that you are only getting a biased portion of the conversation.

@Synapse, I'm not offended, I'm explaining. 3 different moderators have explained the reasoning behind the silence, you've chosen to ignore it. You've also been given 2 different ways to appeal the decision. You've ignored those options too. If all you want to do is complain then this conversation is over. If you actually want to understand or appeal the decision then I'm more then willing to explain or direct you to the correct post in this thread.

...no that isn't what I meant. If you want another moderator or admin to take it seriously you should consider explaining why you think his silence wasn't fair. Why you think that my warning was unfair, why you think silencing someone who ignored that warning wasn't fair, why you think philcore's post didn't violate my warning, whatever your reasoning is. If you think the actual rule is unfair then you should email Kestas because the moderators do not have any control over the site rules or their wording.

It's not that they don't like the persons who made cheating accusations before phil but it's purely coincidental.

The fact that I wasn't given a 24-hour silencing *strengthens* the case that the mods are not biased towards their friends. I'm pretty sure more than one of the mods considers me a massive nuisance, and I'm certainly not "friends" with any of them although I respect their hard work in keeping some level of order on the site. If the mods played favourites, as someone *not* in the "favourites" camp, it would have been an ideal chance for them to slap me down. That they didn't shows they try their best to be balanced and fair, rather than favouring some users and picking on others.

For what it's worth, I slightly regret my cheating implication in the thread in question. I'll happily accept a token 12-hour silencing if this would make anyone feel better.

Split, you are being ridiculous. Jmo and every one of the mods do this work for free. They aren't paid to be here and to be here 24 hours a day. When Jmo saw the cheating accusations, he posted as soon as he saw. Your comment just drips of bitterness that should be addressed elsewhere.

THIS IS JUST A FUCKING GAME! This site is nothing but a place where you get to play this game. And if you have issues with the rules of this site, or their application, FIND ANOTHER ONE.
This self-righteous attitude so many seem to have here is the exact reason why I don't play as much on the site. I just can't stand it. There's a huge difference between taking a game you love to heart, and taking a game and its context seriously. There is no real competition here, no real trophy, no serious gaming. This is a place where we get to enjoy a game we're passionate about, not a place where we fucking try to gain a sense of personal value. Who fucking cares who gets silenced, who gets banned? Who cares if the mods are neutral or biased? What impact does any of that have on the actual games you came here to play??? Fucking hell...

If this site is so important to you and the economy of your life, I think you either need to get a life or just buck the fuck up and deal with the rules and their applications. It's not YOUR site. You both have the same options though, contacting another admin or Kestas. I'm not dismissing them because I think they are nonsense, I'm dismissing them because you've been given 2 options to solve your problem neither of which involve me. Use them or don't, but yelling on the forum isn't going to get anything done for either of you.
