Skyfall? Over Empire Strikes Back? Are you a madman? Top notch writing, top notch acting. And without a doubt the greatest cinematic reveal in history. The little green guy was Yoda? That's crazy! And the Darth Vader thing was an interesting twist as well.

Leading- I think Star Wars as a franchise is the most overrated of any franchise and I don't feel much better about Bond films but if you asked me which one I'd rather watch sky fall is my pick .

The concept of the franchise is absolutely silly. I understand absolutely. But rewatching Empire is an absolute delight. I chose Empire specifically because not only does it have the storytelling of George Lucas, but also some of the best directing and writing of a great many films.

Many of my favourite movies among these votes.

##VOTE There Will Be Blood -- I think I underrated this when I first saw it, I mean it was strong, but repeat viewings made an even stronger impression. Unrelenting.

Gladiator had literally one good line in the entire movie.

"Whatever comes out of these gates, we've got a better chance of survival if we work together."

But even that line is self-defeating. It's so thrilling that whatever eventually comes out must be a disappointment.

Gladiator was a bit too cheesy for my vote, but I've never seen 12 Years a Slave.

Easiest round yet to vote on

Honestly, Elf isn't great. It's okay if it's around Christmas time, but even then it's kinda meh. Forrest Gump is watchable any time of year and is easily better.

Elf is awful simply because it stars Will Ferrell. Man hasn't been funny since the 90s.

Gladiator and Forrest Gump are probably the two worst Best Picture winners. Granted I don't know many pre 1970ish.

Will Ferrell needs good writers to be funny. Elf did not have good writers.

Elf had decent enough writers. It also had Jon Favreau.
