I'm guessing they let her go because she didn't know the rules. Interestingly, the players seem to have gotten what they wanted with regards to getting those accounts kicked out.

Timor is the Portuguese rendition of timur, so yes, East Timor really is East East, and West Timor is West East!

FYI: In my case, Timur is not from the Portuguese, although thanks for the elucidation, but from the Mongolian Timur the Lame, commonly known as Tamburlaine in the west.

I think y'all folks are making a mountain out of a mole-hill. Them new folks ain't meant no harm. They're just learning the ropes and no one learned them afore how we roll around here.

I agree, there was never an attempt to cheat, the game he created was called "test..." And he clearly didn't know there was anything wrong with it when he posted his question. The funniest thing was when he posted about the vehement opposition to quitting while telling us about his 12 accounts. That made me laugh!

Obviously the accounts had to be banned, but given his intentions, I hope the miss let him create a new, single, account so that he and his friends can actually start playing here. It would be wise of him to never let his association withthis incident be known with his new account though.

JaneBot got banned as well finally. And the original player did pad his points with a massive multi game. I doubt, despite the test name, that he wasn't planning to do it again and get even more points.

That was the outcome, but I don't believe that was the intention. And I don't dispute that all of the accounts in question should be banned, I just think his explanation was genuine, and knowing the rules now, I don't see a problem with a new account being granted.
