Multiple Accounts....
I recently discovered that my friend (Shmoop/dmindlin824/olminlin) actually has multiple accounts. In one game, he even played with two of his accounts at once (and still lost...). What would be the appropriate action to take at this point?

question for name on board game for market
Im making a board game for the market and im taking a pole on which name is better. The two names are war of 4 and Generals command. I know you do not know anything about the game. Dont worry about that. The names have hardly anything to do with discribing it anyway. Im just trying to find out which of the two names you like best.

Wow, this thread is hilarious. I haven't handed out that many +1's in a thread in a quite a while.

I'm really curious about the game. Please describe it!

As for the name, my vote is for "Waropoly"
ezra willis (305 D)

Its set in the furture. Has 4 countries to choose from. It can be played in 2 hours but can take longer.
That is all i am going to say about it at this point. If I get it published ill post more information about it.

That's awfully vague. It could very well be "Space Parcheesi"

'Fourture'?
@Ezra: "War of Four" sounds better, though the name would make me think it needs 4 players, which would put me off because it's a lot harder to get 4 players together than 2. If it can be played by 2 people then make sure it says that prominently on the cover.

Why not just think of a zappy one-word name that sums up the game - attention-grabbing, interesting, clever, cool, attractive, hopefully financially rewarding? Problem solved.
Those you suggested are extremely lame/tame/to blame/no shame..
ezra willis (305 D)

Well for being lame it has got lots of likes at other poles. 99.9 percent of everywhere else likes the name war of four. Hm sure its not just you? and thank you speakertoaliens for pointing that out.
To be honest, I dont particularly like both names either. And I think some of the people here agreed with abge initial remark to the same effect. Having said that, it's pretty damn cool you're developing a game and you should name it whatever the hell you like!
Well, I don't know what context "future" is in. If its post-apocalyptic type future, maybe "Ashes of Oblivion" would be a cool name?
Jamiet99uk (873 D)

It's set in the future and is a war-based boardgame with four powers... hmm... how about....

FOUR WAY SPACEBANG

Or possibly BANG OF FOUR ?

Or perhaps you could focus on the aggressive tactics required of the combatants?

HARDCORE FOURSOME ?

How about "Gangbang"?

'B of F' too culturally significant.
'GB' too sexually significant.

4 player games suck. That's all there is to it. A game needs to be playable for 2-6 people if it's going to have any staying power. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get exactly 4 people to play a boardgame?

I start. 'Undertow' (cue Lennie the C).

Honestly, Diplomacy kind of sucks unless you're online or playing in a tournament. My friends and I all like Diplomacy but we never play it because it's so hard to get exactly the right amount of people. We're much more likely to play A&A, RISK!, or (our personal favorite) Rail Baron, because of the variety of people you can play with.
ezra willis (305 D)
24 Jan 13 UTC
I think you misunderstood me 2 to 4 players can play it. Normaly i would agree with you that 2 to 6 players are the way to go but as i was designing the game play things were really fun with 4 players. So i am leaving it at that for now
Jamiet99uk (873 D)

Have you picked a name yet?
ezra willis (305 D)
26 Jan 13 UTC
War of four has the most likes out of all the poles put together (least favorit has been here) but ashes of oblivion has got my eye. It fits my game well because the goal is to obliterate and destroy. Eliminating others is the only way to win. So i think it is between those 2. Waroply is a vary good name to but it just dont go with the game well enough. If i ever create more games i will definately keep it in mind however. Im so close to having it done im excited! There are no dislikes about it yet out of those who have played it! If i get it sold to a company ill post lots of information about it.

Ezra Willis, here's what you do. Go to the bookstore, buy a dictionary and any grammar book. Study them until you can take polls about poles and say "I'll be ill." You seem to have punctuation down though, so that does put you leagues above Nigee in readability, which should be encouraging to you.

Lol i guess im just a kansan red neck. I took a poleee hererrrr. As for ill instead of i'll im just lazy.
Oh sweet! I demand royalties if you use that name! Lol

I like neither name if they go no-where toward describing the game.

Just want to double check a rule.
If Germany is doing a self bounce such as Hol-Ruhr, Mun-Ruhr
Would a French move of Piccardy supporting the attack into Ruhr from Munich, and at the same time Burgandy-Munich work for France ? Not exactly sure how the attacking your own troops rules works.

A Shooting a Day Keeps the NRA Away
Someone needs to make this a real point. If you want gun control, outspend the NRA and yell louder than them. No real arguing tactics are going to work so let's stoop down to their level.

Gay sensitivity classes in primary school?
I just read a very disturbing article (in Dutch) about gay sensitivity classes in primary school. Isn't this the kind of stuff that you teach your kids at home? "If you're gay, you can just say so, we're all human." You're supposed to know and admit that you're gay when you barely hit puberty? Disturbing.
