Multiple Accounts....
I recently discovered that my friend (Shmoop/dmindlin824/olminlin) actually has multiple accounts. In one game, he even played with two of his accounts at once (and still lost...). What would be the appropriate action to take at this point?

question for name on board game for market
Im making a board game for the market and im taking a pole on which name is better. The two names are war of 4 and Generals command. I know you do not know anything about the game. Dont worry about that. The names have hardly anything to do with discribing it anyway. Im just trying to find out which of the two names you like best.

Just want to double check a rule.
If Germany is doing a self bounce such as Hol-Ruhr, Mun-Ruhr
Would a French move of Piccardy supporting the attack into Ruhr from Munich, and at the same time Burgandy-Munich work for France ? Not exactly sure how the attacking your own troops rules works.

A Shooting a Day Keeps the NRA Away
Someone needs to make this a real point. If you want gun control, outspend the NRA and yell louder than them. No real arguing tactics are going to work so let's stoop down to their level.

Gay sensitivity classes in primary school?
I just read a very disturbing article (in Dutch) about gay sensitivity classes in primary school. Isn't this the kind of stuff that you teach your kids at home? "If you're gay, you can just say so, we're all human." You're supposed to know and admit that you're gay when you barely hit puberty? Disturbing.

Sweden more right wing then America???

"The idea of lean Nordic government will come as a shock both to French leftists who dream of socialist Scandinavia and to American conservatives who fear that Barack Obama is bent on “Swedenisation”. They are out of date. In the 1970s and 1980s the Nordics were indeed tax-and-spend countries. Sweden’s public spending reached 67% of GDP in 1993. Astrid Lindgren, the inventor of Pippi Longstocking, was forced to pay more than 100% of her income in taxes. But tax-and-spend did not work: Sweden fell from being the fourth-richest country in the world in 1970 to the 14th in 1993.

Since then the Nordics have changed course—mainly to the right. Government’s share of GDP in Sweden, which has dropped by around 18 percentage points, is lower than France’s and could soon be lower than Britain’s. Taxes have been cut: the corporate rate is 22%, far lower than America’s. The Nordics have focused on balancing the books. While Mr Obama and Congress dither over entitlement reform, Sweden has reformed its pension system (see Free exchange). Its budget deficit is 0.3% of GDP; America’s is 7%.

On public services the Nordics have been similarly pragmatic. So long as public services work, they do not mind who provides them. Denmark and Norway allow private firms to run public hospitals. Sweden has a universal system of school vouchers, with private for-profit schools competing with public schools. Denmark also has vouchers—but ones that you can top up. When it comes to choice, Milton Friedman would be more at home in Stockholm than in Washington, DC.

All Western politicians claim to promote transparency and technology. The Nordics can do so with more justification than most. The performance of all schools and hospitals is measured. Governments are forced to operate in the harsh light of day: Sweden gives everyone access to official records. Politicians are vilified if they get off their bicycles and into official limousines. The home of Skype and Spotify is also a leader in e-government: you can pay your taxes with an SMS message.

This may sound like enhanced Thatcherism, but the Nordics also offer something for the progressive left by proving that it is possible to combine competitive capitalism with a large state: they employ 30% of their workforce in the public sector, compared with an OECD average of 15%. They are stout free-traders who resist the temptation to intervene even to protect iconic companies: Sweden let Saab go bankrupt and Volvo is now owned by China’s Geeley."

Politicians in Holland (semi-nordic) sometimes say:
"A political discussion about principles will inevitably turn into a discussion about practicalities here, whereas in the US, a discussion about practicalities will inevitably turn into a discussion about principles."

I think most people can agree that today, American politics leaves little to be desired and many countries in the world are better then America

I absolutely love this clip:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q49NOyJ8fNA&lc

From a libertarian stand point the only category America is #1 in the world in is gun rights. Which for me presonally is not a priority, I value the first, fourth and fifth amendment more then the second and third.

You know things are bad when the 17 year olds are getting racist on you as well. Is there no respect for a man of colour on this site ..... give me the rope I'll do it myself.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
01 Feb 13 UTC
Okay, sure, that's racist, I don't know where you get that from, but whatever. If you want to fight imaginary racism with suicide jokes, cool. Those make me much more receptive to what you're saying. This country wouldn't have survived without those amendments. Had they been forgotten we'd be in anarchy. Had they been included in the Constitution originally, there'd be 10 different amendments, and over time we'd fall into despotism. Sound familiar? Europe's seen both in recent years. You ought to understand that better than we do.
NigeeBaby (100 D(G))
01 Feb 13 UTC
You're so right, it's all anarchy and despotism in Europe en ce moment.
You can hardly move without tripping over an anarchist here or a despot there, it's complete chaos. You must get your political education out of a jamboree bag or on the back of milk cartons :-)
Forget the amendments .... if people stop buying those over-valued T-bills there will be anarchy alright .....it's a House of cards !!
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
01 Feb 13 UTC
"in recent years" =/= "en ce moment" ... I don't know why people like you love to twist words so that you can attack them a little more easily. I don't know if you have ever heard of the fall of the Soviet Union or anything, but that wasn't really long ago, resulting in - GASP - despotic nations in the 90s! And you know that National-Anarchist organization in - GASP - the UK in the 90s! Wow! So much evidence in so few years!

In comparison, of course, to the horrible horrible United States, you know, that hasn't seen legitimate anarchy since 12938910202 BCE and hasn't seen despotism since the 1600s - run by - GASP - Great Britain.

That's so racist and came off a milk carton. Duh.

Oh yeah, now it's trolling. It's no longer making a point. It's not debating something you apparently think is real. It's trolling. That's the best way to beat a question and avoid an answer. Say it's trolling.
