Of course, Draugnar, that I think they have to punish D33, specially if what he did was with the goal of circunvecting the rules. Of course!
And I am with you, the in-game mutlis and metagamers should have ALL their accounts closed! Of course, and that sadly is not how things are done here...
My point was about priorities, you see, is been so much time that an *obvious* multi happened in a gunboat and it was pointed to the mods. By many players, in fact by all the other players in that game alive at the end. It was *that* obvious, and I will send you the link to the game, you will see it.
Well, for the mods that is not a priority. More than a week later, I ask for it and what happened that there was no banning, and they just answer "We told you we were going to look into it, be patient.". One week. The guys free to join and ruin new games. But if someone trolls in the forums, they get banned in minutes. Minutes. For trolling. Not for cheating; it was the trolling that brought fire upon the account.
That is wrong. Not the banning of Mr.V!!! What is wrong is THE PRIORITIES.
It seems there are previous problems between the mods and this guy I guess, so they reacted in minutes, and they made it public.
WHY, why then not making public ALL the cheaters??? You have to recognize that circunvecting the points limitation is not even near a cheat as it is the in-game multi or the metagaming. The former does not ruin games, the latter completely does.
The mods seem to be more focused on some personal problems with some users than in... well, mod'ing. With all due respect, mod'ing should be neutral.
