Since we have enough students to make game 2 classic, I'd be willing to TA in that game as well if we are in need to TA's.

How much bets is for the game?

The bets for the game are only 5, because its not for points, its for instruction. Once in the game, you will have a TA assigned to you, who will be your mentor for the match. Professors will comment on a thread in the forum about your performance in the game.

It also looks like we'll be needing at least one sub for the first game folks, but I'm not gonna count the cows until they're all in

@ BenGuin there is currently one opening in the first game, gameID=62777. I will set up game two tonight, which you will be in. Both games should be starting at about the same. However, there was a list of people who expressed interest in the SoW infront of you, so Cachimbo is the first person I would contact. The two games should start around Wednesday though, so no worries

Ok, PS, can I suggest that we make this PPC? with a one day phase?

If one person is about to win in WTA, then everyone els, even the allies turn against him/her(/it?)... this elimates the "diplomacy" element in the game

I think there has been a zillion discussions about PPC versus WTA in the forums.

@Ben, you wont' find a single *serious* game on this site that is PPSC. PPSC is a horrible variant of the original game and is less than no fun to play.

@ Benguin - The games will be 2 day phases, and WTA. There is no reason why one player should stand idly by and let another take a solo. Solos in good games should not happen. Solos mean that everyone else has failed in the "diplomacy" element of the game. In this game, friends should turn on friends, enemies should become friends. The best games imo are the ones where alliances change by the year or even by the season.

Yes, we're short one TA, and I'd rather not make anyone TA twice if I don't have to. If you don't want to do it or don't have the time to commit, then that's fine
