how hard can it be to learn what lepanto means? there's this amazing thing called the internet where you can look up basically anything you want.

Apparently I've already played more than ten games (I definitely didn't realise it), but I definitely knew about the Lepanto during my first game. I'm the sort of person who looked up Diplomacy strategy when I began playing - even though I was England in that game.

When I ever I start playing a new game I always check the Internet for strategy guides. It was the same with diplomacy, I read about the various openings during the first phase of my first game. So knowing the term lepanto after the first 10 games is not hard to believe at all.

I agree with spyman...before my first game as Austria, I read all strategy articles I could find.

they didn't ban azogar because azogar weren't a cheater. these guys you cited are and they have (fortunately) got banned, but i'm am not.

mods do not provide proof so that cheaters won't know what to do when they try cheating again.

Mods would never provide proof for exactly what Hellalt said. If they did then cheater in future would make sure it couldn't happen again. Also, calling the mod stupid when he decided to give you a second chance is a bit stupid.

people, mods or not, who accuse sameone without showing the proof is stupid. all other words are wasted.

Azo, as I have already said from my brief glance I don't see anything *currently* wrong. However, the more you try to pick a fight with people the more tempted I am to avoid my revision and check it.
Also, as Hell&hell have said, we won't provide proof no. You will have to take our words for it. If we told people what we'd found out and they intended to cheat again it would be easier to avoid being caught. Before banning we ask for an explanation, and if there's nothing wrong there should be no problem.
To the others shouting 'burn the witch', this is also the reason for your anger. Given we don't reveal the evidence we have on someone, and that top priority must be to avoid false-positives, we only ban once we're sure.

so, say clearly: moderators could not ban me because they haven't found a proof but only suspicious (unfounded i add).

moreover, if you will check more about it please do. i want a clear answer because i'm not a multiaccount and i want this is clear to all.

if you can't provide a proof of guilty you can say: that proof doesn't exist.

Azogar-My opinion of you is clear.If you want to prove that you are not a multi then stop playing only anon games.There are enough open minded people on the site that may give you a chance.
@figlesquidge -Is there a way to remove the reports that he has filed against me.I was cleared of the cheating accusation and the last two are about my tone with him.I thought this site site alowed freedom of speech and if everyone filed a report everytime some said something bad about another player most of the players on this site would have reports listed on them.

@pod - I've brought this up on the dev forum before: I don't think any of the reports should be visible to other users - there are just too many people to keep an eye on!

Dangermouse doesn't ivestigate at all. all other moderators like ghost (and kestas himself) have said that i'm clean and i'm not a multiaccount.

but until a moderator try to ban me they can ban every other accounts because they are not mine and i dont care about these :)

1.A mod has the ultimate right and power to consider you a metagamer or not and there is nothing you can say to challenge that.

1+2+3: According to a webdiplomacy.net moderator (dangermouse) you used 3 accounts. Those accounts were second accounts of yours (and not accounts of other people) and got banned. Your first account (Azogar) could also be banned. It didn't because you were given a second chance.

So, I want to see you admitting that you used 3 accounts to cheat in the past, that you regret doing so and that you won't repeat it in the future. That would justify the fact that you were given a 2nd chance.
If you are not willing to regret or even worse if you are not even accepting that you cheated, then I think you shouldn't be given a right to a second chance and you should be banned asap.

There is no point in giving someone a second chance when he doesn't acknowledge his wrong doing but on the contrary he claims the wrong doing of those who forgave him and abuses his 2nd chance.

Azogar is basically the reason I've stopped playing live games. I don't care to run the risk of getting hosed because somebody's cheating.

I don't mind losing fairly, but I'm not interested in losing because somebody feels the need to cheat at internet games.

Not sure if I can make it any time during this week, but I'd quite like a LAG sometime...
