Because its easy to do? It would take a marginally longer SQL query to check if you were still active in a game, so you could try and argue it for efficiency reasons, but in fact its more a case of it's been written. It works. Why change it.

actually i think SQL queries could change a lot of game records of who won what...

i haven't paid attention when i am defeated, do u get your points back str8 away, or have to wait til the end of the game itself?

So say i play a game now with 10 and i lose almost straight away.
Do i get my 10 back(because i have less than 100), or do i have to wait until the game finishes to get my points back?

I don't think you get your points back right away. When you go to 0, you get your 100 back. I think.

I think it's when all your games are over and you are below 100 , you get bumped up back to 100. That was to jimgov since it didn't answer BartSimpson's question.

When a game you are in ends, it checks your total points, and if below 100 then it bumps you back up to 100 . It does not happen when you are eliminated. You do not have to get down to 0 .

If you go CD and someone else takes over your position, then you are no longer the player on record and will not get your points bumped back up when the game ends. But the next time you have a game end where you are still the player of record, you'll get boosted back to 100 .

But if you played a 100 game and went CD and were replaced, you'd be done and would either need to beg for a mod to reset you, or have to start a new user.
