Doh! That's right. Too many tournies and leagues going on and my brain is getting fried.

Why do I have the feeling I'm going to end up in like 14 games at once (12 tournament and leagues games, and a couple more anonymous ones) and really screw the pooch so that I end up with a worse G-rating than hellalt?

I would like to meet Thucydides too. I just think in person he would remind me of one of my cousins. Extrememly bright and could handle me picking on Texas. I just don't think we would share much in common outside of Diplomacy. I honestly would like to meet denis in 15 years from now. Another extremely bright individual but has a lot of growing up to do. I think he will be successful in what ever he shoots for but right now he has some growing to do. I am sure if he reads this he will take it the wrong way but I do mean that once he gets some real life experience under his belt he will be a great guy.
Unfortunately I have not had too many dealings with many of the folks here.
Ivo would be another I would like to meet so I could pick his brain for a few days. Mad Marx the limited dealings I have had with him seems like a good guy too.
Fortknox seems like a down to earth kind of guy as does jarrah.

Sic for the same reason, but for different reasons, too. I'd love to talk for hours about all kinds of things, and just put a face to the name. I think I've "known" him for more than a year now, it's strange not to have any clue how you look.

I think I would also like to meet kestas. Whenever he's not talking about programming stuff that I don't come close to getting, he seems really reasonable and nice.

Friendly Sword.... he's a lot of fun, and I assume the same would be true in person.
There are many others... DingleberryJones for example, and probably Manic and amonkeyperson. Djbent could possibly be very nice person but I haven't done much direct communicating with her.

There are lots of other people that have been tremendous helps to me in the past that I would want to meet just for the sake of expressing gratitude, but they are too many to name.

What if Ghost isn't a tall 18 year old with wispey hair, glasses and magnus pipe like gestures, What if dingleberry Jones doesn't look like that guy from the CBI, what if Sicarius doesn't look like Swampy? What if I find that Hellalt has friends? And Kestas isn't a God? Are these are the kind of things that would drive a man, mad. I'm not going to meet any of you, just you stay on the interweb, keep away I tell you, keep away.

tailboarder, what didn't you like about Texans? I found them to be very friendly although there's the occasional black sheep like everywhere else.

i prefer fort worth over dallas if i had to chose between the two but i would pick the mid-cities area over either city. i dont care for houston that much, austin is ok, and there isnt anything special about san antonio besides the alamo(unless you drive 30 minutes to new braunfels to go to Schlitterbahn)

TGM and Kestas for sure; to buy them a couple of rounds for everything they've done on this site. I have had the opportunity to meet a ton of great people (virtually I suppose) and I've thoroughly enjoyed learning about this game. I can't believe it's been around so long and I just found out about it in February.

djbent, gjdip, friendly sword, plastic hussar, BZD, babak, zscheck, lulzworth and many others that I've enjoyed playing with - djbent and gjdip +1 because they're female - I know, that's a little shallow, but I've always found intelligence, good conversations/sense of humor very attractive in women.

And a whole special, separate acknowledgement for Crazyter, who for some reason, I just really, really like.

Also, I love Maniac's post above; that was perfect; but it's ok - Crazyter doesn't have to look like Kate Beckinsale, and BZD doesn't have to be a member of Monty Python. I'd still like to meet 'em:P

All the mods and kestas, so hopefully if I ever make my way down to Australia I'll be able to find Kestas. Babak and djbent, preferably at the same time, to see if they stab in real life too. Draug too, although I'm not sure what we'd talk about, considering his scotch's are older than I am.
