It's easier to get a gun, than ….
http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/16/health/getting-gun-ease-trnd/index.html

In the wake of the last two mass shootings, I didn't know that I would have a harder time buying a puppy than a gun. There are even more restrictions to join Diplomacy.

Remove the no orders/saved/ready icons
There are 10 minutes to go and still !! is shown next to a country. It's probably going to NMR. This allows countries around it to make moves that they normally wouldn't confident that the sensible supports and moves to SCs won't take place. Which unbalances the game.

If the icons were removed then it is less obvious that an NMR is about to happen. Is there a reason for the icons that I'm missing?

CD vs NMR
I'm looking at my CD's and NMR's, and I noticed that in one game that I had a Civil Disorder, it gave me 12 NMR's, another CD 3 NMR's, and then the rest of my CD's I have 0 NMR's. Can anyone explain how this works and why there's such a huge discrepancy on this? And is this also a "double jeopardy" against my Reliability Rating to count NMR's and CD's from the same game? This part has always confused me. Thanks!

New Zealand has a new Prime Minister
Labour did a full coalition deal with our weird centrist version of UKIP, so that'll be interesting. Greens to make up the numbers with confidence and supply in exchange for policy concessions and ministers outside of cabinet. I for one am cautiously optimistic about the coalition of chaos.

The argument that renting a truck is the same as buying an assault weapon amuses me.

¤there is no amendment right that guarantees you the right to drive or rent or buy a vehicle.

¤any rental company can refuse you for any reason. You need a credit card, you need a valid license. There are far more regulations to renting a truck than there are for buying a gun.

¤if you look suspicious they can just refuse you the ability to rent the truck. Nobody is obligated to sell you a temporary rental.

¤it boils down to being a salicious false equivalency gun fanatics lean on to prove anyone can kill anyone with anything. Despite the fact theres substantially more hurdles to obtaining a rental vehicle than there is a gun.

“Calling people snowflakes who want to apply equal civil rights to all regardless of religious affiliation... yea that..”

Only you don’t want to apply equal civil rights to all.

Just those you agree with.

Everyone else you want banned, silenced and all rights taken from.

You know, facts.

The Sunni/Shia divide is a sectarian divide stemming back to Islam's early days. Sunni muslims tend to be more conservative/traditionalist because they give the teachings of Mohammed utter primacy. Shia respect his teachings but also respect the teachings of the Caliphs to follow him, and tend to have a slightly more reformist attitude.

The majority of terrorists tend to be sunni fundamentalists, but that is not giving the issue quite as much in-depth assessment as it probably deserves. Looking closer into the root causes of terrorism has found that wahhabi and salafist clerics do most of the radicalising of muslim youth - and these two doctrines have received funding from Saudi Arabia to build mosques in the rest of the world.

Terrorist groups usually Sunnis. Shia groups are protecting by Iran and I didn't hear they attacked in Europe. They're fighting against ISIS but this doesn't mean they'r good.
In Islamic teaching, there isn't excommunicate but militants interprets Jihad wrong and they kill innocent non-Muslims and excommunicated Syrians. They harms my Islam so I never support them. CroakandDagger is right. Shia Muslims are a bit separatist. But you can't find an Shian attack easily in Europe but they sometimes kills innocents in MiddleEast.

I'm sorry. I sometimes talk for nothing but I know nothing about what did Trump said. I know Islam so let me talk.

I don't like it much myself, but I do try to understand which parts of it are the more extremist/dangerous/harmful ones and which are the more benign. Not everyone's Islam is harmful, but I don't think we can reasonably deny that there's serious problems hiding under the Islamic umbrella.

And for the record, bb, i'm not a fan of the IRA either.

Guns actually allow lawful citizens to protect themselves. Thank god we have that as legally enshrined amendment to our constitution.

On the terror strike. It's sick. I thank the lord everyday that Trump is president. He will do something about this unlike his predecessor the so-called President O.

after 8 years of having someone actively trying to ruin this country, we finally have someone trying to repair the damage and make us great again. It's time to crackdown on this sicko terrorists. Expand the travel ban, more extreme vetting, and more extreme measures to combat this sicko stuff. We've had enough of it.

no thanks, who would want a communist government? That leads to mass scale, macro, violence against the public. Look at the Soviet Union and China. Tens of millions dead to gulags, re-education camps, work camps, starvation, political purges, etc. If you like Socialism so much @BB move to North Korea.

The rest of us will be fine with our constitution, Republic, and freedoms.

Refugees.. Does Uganda treat refugees better than many wealthy Nations ?
More refugees from South Sudan entered Uganda in the last 12 months than entered Europe. Uganda allows them to enter, to work, gives many a small plot of land to farm. To appease locals in regional areas where refugees settle the Government allocates 30% of aid to local communities. My own Nation, Australia, a relatively wealthy nation treats some refugees well, but others with harsh treatment, incarceration in detention camps.
