Given the name of the series, I'm not sure why you're surprised by the results.

I'll admit that the games I've been in that have drawn did so a little early for my taste and perhaps I could have played a little more aggressive

Yeah several of the games were drawn much sooner than I expected. I'm sure not going to complain though. It's been working in my favor so far.

I THINK the Game 1 draw was a courtesy draw. Geng was off to the races in that one but agreed to the draw immediately after our host missed the deadline.

In response to Jim, just didn't see me getting a solo in that one. Once Germany and England settled their differences and started working together, seemed like the last several centers would be pretty tough, Austria turning to Trieste pretty much sealed the deal.

Yeah, I figured the way things were going I was probably getting eliminated soon if I kept at Turkey like that and moving back against Italy was my best bet for at least being part of a stalemate line and earning a place in the draw. I guess I was right.

Much apologies for the NMR by me. Not intentional. Just been having a bad week of sleep that threw me off. I was just a bit surprised that it ended because I don't think that my NMR affected much. I wouldn't have done anything except maybe move to tyrolia from bohemia. Beyond that, I'm not thrilled about the draws either but I haven't been doing well in this series and I was gonna take anything I could.
