( that many players on this website also play on the vdip website )
I only play Diplomacy on the Internet on this website.
I tried another website once, but I prefer the way this website is set up & functions
plus this website has all the best of the "beautiful people" of the Internet Diplomacy community,-- Draugnar, Nigeebaby, Thucy, CelticFox, Abgemacht, & countless others too numerous to list here, ( apologies for any mispellings ).
If you have only just joined Balroq, then much excitement & pleasure lie ahead for you if you join in the "hurly burly" of battle, negotiation & discussion.
mon ami, Draugnar is one of the rare jewels of our site,
a cranky Draugnar in the Forum is a joy to behold.
I hope you enjoy some memorable games,
my most favourite was a cheap buy in, purchasing an abandoned England
about to be consumed by Germany & France, acheiving a wondrous triple betrayal,
causing Germany to implode & going on to win with France as an ally.
Another well remember'd "buy in" game featured Draugnar & Krellin,
with both, whilst in alliance, privately calling each other f***tards
& gleefully elaborating on plans to "do the other one in"
Alas Draugnar won that game despite being unable to capture any of my sc's
( he captured most or all of Krellins sc's )
Draugnar winning a game is somewhat like an infrequent astronomical event,
I might ( or might not ) be considered to have been priveliged to have been a participant at one of those rare events.
