is beautiful and one of numerous perfectly executed sequences, perfect tension, and an amazing villain (who's plan makes sense)

I love the cinematography in Dark Knight, I love the writing, I love quite a bit of the action. It's amazing. The ending drags on a bit, but it's wonderful. I have it a rewatch very recently and I quite enjoyed it. The other film is a fun Tarantino romp, but not as high caliber quality. If it were a different Tarantino film, maybe, but Dark Knight has to take it home.

Dark Knight is high concept cinema, which definitively means the characters are straightforward. Joker wanted chaos. That's just his ideology. He has a blast rolling with it. It's straightforward. If you don't think it makes sense you're spending too much time trying to figure it out.
