The problem is that we are now unable to have these proxy accounts leave the game. We could wait a full two rounds but doing so would delay our game by over 48 hours, which is something we are trying to avoid.

Additionally, we have two people who did want to join in with us but were delayed. We were going to allow them to choose their own starting location with the understanding that they would miss out on a turn or two of play, and were going to facilitate this by having them select from any of the resigned "J-Bot" accounts.

As such having these accounts unable to leave our game is both slowing us down and preventing real players from participating. I couldn't find a clear answer as to how to quit -- in my trial run it happened, but I didn't realize it was because one of the accounts was simply not used -- I had flagged it to "cancel" and falsely assumed that "cancel" was the quit button.

I did however see that the moderation team is able to remove people from games. Unfortunately, I could find no information on the help page directing me to a way of contacting a moderator. Thus, this topic.

It may seem weird and stupid to some people out there (and there is apparently a huge, vehement community against people quitting games), but it is what we need in order to actually get other real people into the game in a time span that isn't 48+ hours away (by which point they'll be too far behind). As we are currently on turn 2, we'd really appreciate if these spots could clear up asap.
