Remember what this site is for. It's not for civilized discusions, it is for diplomacy. And given how many members we have here, it's doubtful everyone will get to know everyone else. Thus, playing this game requires a certain amout of paranoia. Also, since only one person can win any game, but needs help from others, everyone gets screwed at some point.
That's probably where the imagined insults come from. And not all of them are imaginary.
Although what I can't get is why people don't just move on.

I was pointing out that draug can only be taken so seriously and that Obi should take his threa with a grain of salt.

To Draugnar's defense, he told you not to reply because it was pointless since he can't read what you say. Also you would probably just say there is no reason to mute you and no matter what you would be biased about it, so another reason not for you to post. He wanted others opinion on you, not your self-evalutation.

I think that that was the problem. If someone starts a thread bashing me, I'd be pissed if the person who started it then says that they muted me. I can see why that would be a porblem.

His question was "So has obiwanobiwan finally matured and can I take him off my mute list?" Its intention was to see if Obi should be tooken off his mute list thus they needed to talk about the issues of him to decide whether or not to. Draugnar can't make that decision himself since he hasn't seen Obi's posts to be able to know.

This whole thing is still going on?

@ Jabberjawsjr: Why couldn't Draugnar have simply un-muted Obi, had a quick look at his recent posts, and made his own decision? Oh wait, he obviously *could* have done that, couldn't he?

Instead he decided to be a dick. Obi is a valued member of this forum and I enjoy many of his posts, long-winded as some of them tend to be. Draugnar's decision to create a thread asking if Obi had "matured" was insulting and stupid. I've muted him.
