Well, we have to be careful if we play it anon that the pigeons can't be traced back to a specific player and give away our identities. I mean, the direction the bird flew in from might be a little too much info. And God help you if you put a homing beacon on the bird so you can more easilyy recover it. that is technological metagaming.

My falcon can never be hurt by your poison. Oh no. My falcon has integrity and above all is a superb communicator so he would be able to ferret out the fact that your pigeon is sick. Moreover, my falcon would be able to dominate (or in falconry speak, "solo") all these pigeons easily, but my falcon has only does this once because he is a nice falcon and instead he chooses to be friends and live happily with one or two of the best pigeons (God knows that a four way friendship must not be condone).

I'll send all mine in triplicate via different routes and only one will have the actual message. And for people who live in the continental 48, Canada, and Mexico, I'll send mine by roadrunner. It'll outrun those damned falcons no problem.

Maybe digital carrier pigeon. Kind of like the electric gremlin in "Gremlins 2".

I don't know, It might be a little unfair, not everybody has access to owls and falcons...

Well, what about the digital CP? Travels at the speed of light, immune to owls and falcons, but it's still a pidgeon.

In the spirit of Diplomacy, owls are ok as long as they are named Hedwig or Archimedes and nothing else, especially Errol. Please don't try to weasel your way out of this. That would be considered metagaming.
