Haha.. playing for points is dum? Isnt that kinda like saying earning money is dum? ;) You need points to buy yourself into games, right? All the really cheap games i got into so far, with the exception of one, were all not very noteworthy and i didnt learn crap.. people seemed to not really care about them. I want to play people that first and foremost will not NMR,CD pr cheat, second will actually practice diplomacy and take the time for that and third hopefully play well, so i can learn from them.
I noticed that most of the games with very good players have a high buy in, I couldnt join them when i was below 100 let alone multiple games at the same time. That was frustrating. I gather that at around 1000
you have enough to join what you want and when you want it. So until that time, i prefer games where i can earn some points.
That said, if its a closed game with people that will take it seriously, even if they cant win anything, i would love to play! I just dont want to be in games where people will throw a game or something, or dont give it their all..
But you are a mod.. so i guess you can do a good background check :) Speaking of your almighty powers.. will it be anon ;)
