I've been trying to recruit some family members to play. New accounts, some have tried to join games, but this cousin or that uncle didn't join in time, so they got cancelled.
Other than that, yeah, I blame Azogar too. (Don't even know the guy, but might as well jump on the hater bandwagon.)

I've not seen any evidence of a flood. I've tallied up 29 games so far and not encounted one proven muligamer. There have been one or two truely dire players, but more often than not it can be put down to a noob who doesn't know how the game works but dived in regardless. I've even played Azogar and can confirm that, although he is most certainly an arse, he is a genuinely competent diplmacy player and I am quite sure didn't use multi tactics in that particular game.

There are always a lot of new players with few points and few games and no games finished.........

It's a hard thing to prove. I think the mods just need to be testing some of the new usernames. One newby mentioned the word "Lepanto," even though he has played 10 games here.

most people here are fresh players just learning the game not face to face veterans looking for a way to play online. that's common sense. If you have enough players to play offline, why would you prefer playing online?

because tournaments are rarely. i had been playing diplomacy for 6 years before i have discovered this site 3 years ago.

Why should anyone risk losing his points to Azogar and his multiaccounting company?
Or why would anyone want to get his balls and patience smashed by azogar not drawing a game when a clear stalemate line happens (yeah, clear stalemate lines do exist azogar moron, ufos may not exist).
