People have the right to hit ready whenever the hell they want to. If you want games to process faster, join shorter phase length games.

Sigh. This is like a weekly thread. If you don't want people to use a full 24 hours to make their moves, set up a game with 12 hour phases.

I agree with DingleberryJones, and Rumley. But during retreat and build I think eveyrone should hit ready as quick not wait the whole turn.... What about if all communication is disabled during retreats and building, I think that how the rules are for the board game is. It might speed it up the game

IcyMind - In particular, I am talking about anon/no message games on a 5-minute (read LIVE) cycle where players consistently fail to hit Ready. I get a bathroom break every now and then...but don't join a live anon game just to drag it out.

Kids are so spoiled these days. Back in my day if someone didn't finalize you had to wait an HOUR for the "live" game to process.

Seriously though, @krellin, there are no rules against ranting, as long as you don't do it DURING a live game where this is happening. If you do it during such a live game, then you are cheating by breaking the no-messaging rules. But if it is after the fact, then there are no rules against it.

There are consequences of course. Just as you will form an opinion of me based on my post, everyone else will form an opinion on you. That opinion may not affect an anon/gunboat game, but could come into play in other games.

Just something to think about.

He just went off in a game where Noob decided to throw it to KaptinKool instead of helping hellalt and myself force the draw. Noob was being a 5 year old having a tantrum because hellalt and I were crushing him when KaptinKool got a good position and took advatnage of it. We tried telling him we'd see to it he was part of the draw if he helped us stop it, but he decided not to. The game isn't officially over, but KaptinKool is sitting on his final SCs and we have no way to kick him off so it ends this turn.
