At home Macs, (and a very old Mac with Ubuntu on it, and a less old, PC that I'm trying to fix, and then also run Ubutuntu on). At work I use a Windows PC because that's what they have there.
For my money, Mac's are worth the little bit of extra money. I MUCH prefer the MacOS to Windows, and since the hardware platform is basically the same these days, I find them to be more versatile, since they can run both MacOS and Windows.
My laptop is set up to dual boot, so when I need to run Windows for something (not very often but sometimes some games and other things) I can do that very easily. My desktop isn't currently set up to dual boot but that's just because I haven't gotten around to setting it up.
You also have virtualization options a plenty to run both Mac OS and Windows (or Linux!) at the same time (though with some limitations), including Virtual Box, which while somewhat more limited than other for pay options like VMWare Fusion and Parallels, is free and is coming along nicely. (My Laptop is also set up with Virtual Box and a copy of OpenSolaris that I've just been messing around with a bit here and there).
So, yes Mac's are somewhat more expensive, but personally I find them to be quite well worth the extra money (there's also the fact that in general Mac's are useful longer than PC's are, so you don't have to buy a new one quite so often, (This isn't quite as true as it used to be, but I still find it to be the case) and if you want to sell them, they tend to retain their resale value somewhat better than PC's, so again you can get a bit of a break on the "Apple Tax").
