Homo means the same, not necessarily homosexuality. Phobia is a fear, like a neurological disorder. Homophobia would mean "fear of the same" which doesn't make sense to use in this sense.

They hate gays, they don't fear them. No one fears gays. It's not a descriptive term.

There needs to be a better word.

@Invictus: maybe it's just shortened from homosexualphobia. And it's not really fearing the people, but the thought or the idea of homosexuality.

In the second link though, the guy interviewing them is talking more about Calvinism, than about the whole"God hates Fags" thing. I think that guy seriously missed the point. There are pleanty of very reputable Calvinist churches who will actually explain why they differ from Arminians on the 5 points. This group is NOT about defending Calvinism, they're about hatin gays - and they happen to be Calvinist

The idea of criticizing the historical accuracy of skinheads' Nazi uniforms is really funny. Just as those people probably don't know the Nazis were crazy anti-smoking and animals rights nuts (in addition to the other just plain bad ideas) these people probably don't know the particularities of what specific Biblical passages mean. Homosexuality is really a sin because two people of the same sex can't get married so homosexual sex is a sin because it's sex outside of marriage.

but then it's just adultery - not a sin due to the samesexness, but due to the fact that they can't be married in the eyes of the church, and therefore the sex they have is adultery. Kinda tones down the debate a bit when you put it that way considering I and every singe one of my friends since I was a teenager has been or continues to be guilty of that sin!
