Christianity is about your *personal* relationship with *your* God. Is your relationship with God harmed or enhanced in the least if some post on the internet uses and X in the place of Christ? Is your relationship with God really about a tree and a pile of gifts under said tree?
I think Christians that get their undies in a bunch and start fights over whether or not someone uses an "X" in the word Christmas have played *precisely* into Satan's hands, and have been distracted from what they are supposed to be doing - celebrating their Savior's birth. Because you will never convince the "X"'ers that they are wrong...and they will laugh their asses off at you because have so effectively pissed you off.
If you want to worship God, do it in your own time, in your own place, in your own way. Your worship may even include telling others about your beliefs in a respectful manner at the appropriate time (in fact, it *should* include that if you truly love your fellow man)....but cramming your manufactured Holiday celebration down other people's throats, and demanding that they practice *your* Holiday the way *you* require them to celebrate said Holiday is anything but Christian.
God didn't force faith on people. Christ didn't force worship on people. Paul didn't force worship on people...and in fact, when Paul found himself in a place whereupon he was confronted with the idols to every known god, including one to "the unnamed god", he instead adapted their practices and used them as the launch pad to express state his own beliefs.
So get over it. XMAS....CHRISTMAS....whatever, bro. You ought to remember and worship Christ *every* day, not just one randomly choosen day of the year, and you ought to worship Him in truth and spirit and action...not by arguing about the spelling of a word.
<that is all...>
