....tonight's cellular death was sponsored by a double serving of mesquite barbecue kettle potato chips. For that crunchy crunch flavor that dances across your tongue.

jmo is ...
Awesome! Fuck the haters! He is the hardest working mod/admin here and had a thankless job trying to enforce a line that people constantly tried to cross (myself included). He didn't make the line, he just did his best to enforce it. Good job Jmo, know that you'll be missed by many of the less vocal crowd!

Convoy Cut Support
If I convoy a unit to a province and support such that it dislodges the fleet in that territory, I get it. That's straight forward. However at the same time, the piece that would be dislodged by a successful convoy is supporting another fleet to attack the unit convoying my unit and if there was no convoy my "convoying" fleet would be dislodged. Does the convoy succeed?

Netflix <sigh>
I can't tell you how many nights I spend 1 1/2 hours looking for what to watch on Netflix instead of just watching something. it almost worse than having 150 cable channels to flip through...

So current favorites: "It's Always sunny in Philadelphia", "Wilfred" and "Burn Notice"

Chaqa (3971 D(B))

Never watched it. Been waiting for Season 2 to get on Netflix (and maybe Season 3) so I can binge watch.

Archer is good too.

-Breaking Bad - finished
-Sons of Anarchy - Doesnt' interest me. Should it?
-LOST - NO. Never. Never Ever. a long confusing show that left everyone disappointed. Too clever fro it's own good. Never.
-The Walking Dead - Am current on.
-The Killing -
-Orange is the New Black - Wife grimaced as lesbian sex in the shower in first episode...lol
-Psych -- On list
-Scrubs -- Used to watch when it was on TV. hate the main character...he's a <bad word>
-Dexter - Love it, have only not seen the last episodes which are not on Netflix yet.
-House of Cards - Watched...tried to watch...first episode. need to try again.
-Battlestar Galactica - Have re-watched, and wife forbids me to watch it again yet.

Anyone watch American Horror Story?

American Horror - Each season is a different story, but uses many of the same actors.
first season was set in a haunted house, second season set in an insane asylum, third season is currently airing and is set in New Orleans w/ witches and voodoo.

My wife loves it, and I have to admit it isn't that bad and quite fun to watch.

Well, the thing about LOST is that most of the people who hated the finale either 1) didn't understand it or 2) just like to bitch. It was pretty clear what happened. I think it's a great show, one of the best ever made.

Sons of Anarchy is very good. It's violent, grim, realistic (and also unrealistic), and very entertaining. Seasons 1-2 are amazing, 3 is a bit worse, and 4, but 5-6 and this current are amazing.

krellin, you'd probably like House of Cards. Political thriller. Kevin Spacey is excellent.

My recommendations that haven't already been mentioned:

Peep Show
Derek
Trailer Park Boys
Arrested Development
The League
Luther
Freaks and Geeks
Kids in the Hall
Twin Peaks

Movies:

In Bruges
Jeff Who Lives At Home
The Trip
The Imposter
Anvil! The Story of Anvil

Oooh movies:
Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Van Ryan's Express, Once Upon a Time in the West, Memento, Donnie Darko

I don't know how you can say Sons is realistic, but I agree it's a good show.

LOST, on the other and, was just a con game. I got pressured into watching much of the first season on DVD in college and didn't like it. It didn't make sense. And it's clear now there was never anything to make sense of. The writers made it all up as they went along. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that, but it certainly blows up the idea that there's some mystery to be uncovered. Very glad I didn't waste more time on it.

Elementary (current day American spin on Sherlock Holmes)
NCIS
CASTLE
Hawaii 5-O (the current remake)
The Mentalist

^the only other shows I could think of besides the ones already mentioned.
Chaqa (3971 D(B))

What I mean about Sons making sense is that the main characters aren't immune. Bad shit happens. Sometimes the good guys win, sometimes they don't. And it's got a pretty realistic view on how people act.

Sherlock (the BBC one) is pretty good and I believe it's on Netflix.

Ones I havent seen mentioned :
The Wire
Justified - little known FX show about a modern day marshall in Kentucky. Main character is just plain awesome.
The Office

I plan to watch Sherlock on the next TV offseason as I also heard positive things about it.

Oh, and Krellin - if you liked Battlestar (which I loved) you may also like Farscape or Babylon 5. They are a little more Campy SciFi so that will knock out the wife as a cowatcher

Outsourced to America
Hey guys, just wanted to share with you a small personal triumph. For years some Americans were worried that their job would be outsourced to China. But a couple of months ago I recently took on my first Chinese client, which means that the Chinese have started outsourcing things to America.
