I am using Firefox 1.5.0.12 (yeah, that old), and am unable to set armies to move to other territories via convoy. I can order the fleets to convoy from one territory to another, but the army's complementary orders just list it as moving to that territory without any mention of convoying.

That's it, so far as I can see. Nothing else has been obviously wrong.

What is JS Code? I know that it is supposed to reduce server load but how does it do it?

I was unable to finalize my moves. Only after turning the code off, it allowed me to finalize because I added a "via land" option that was lacking

I have managed to get moves in but only after switching this JS thingy off. The switch off didn't work when I first tried it earlier today. Do we have to worry about this problem returning when the switch off option is removed?

Do not like the new button names. Perhaps I am experiencing 'site change fatigue'.

Having various convoy problems (such as being unable to specify for the land unit 'via convoy' and being unable to put in support orders for a convoyed move). Turned off the JS and I can do it now.

In game http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=13553 I am unable to enter a retreat order -- no retreat is possible and before you could finalize the order anyway. Now, the "Lock" button does nothing. I've tried to toggle the "JS orders" button but that doesn't seem to do anything either.

gameID=14308 on Internet Explorer: could not enter orders to support F MidAtlantic - Spain South Coast from Marseilles. turned JS code off and it let me enter those orders

Using firefox version 3.0.15 I get this:
TypeError: this.Unit is undefined

everytime i try to give orders or open a game.
didn't have the chance to see if the moves actually happen, but i don't want to screw my games up by finding out. :)

Firefox v3.0.15. Fleet in Western Med., Fleet in Gulf of Lyons, Army in Marseilles. The fleet in the Gulf of Lyons and the Army in Marseilles are unable to support an attack into Spain from Western Med. Turned off the JS order code and it's working fine again.

Running Firefox 3.5.4 on gameID=14215, I can't order a fleet to support to Spain (sc). Turning JS code off allowed this.

One of my units can not issue a support move order. I get the error "TypeError: Object #<a Territory> has no method ‘pluck’"

Can't really say I understand the point of changing the orders anyway... Why are you doing this?

flashman; you haven't provided the info I asked for, not sure what you want me to do.
Lock/Save instead of Finalize/Update is supposed to be more appropriate for the new method of entering orders. Instead of Update->Update->Update->Update->Finalize now you either click Lock or Save when you're done (at least, once it's working fully)

I've turned them off for now since I'm not up for debugging at the moment, I'll sort this out within the next few days but it should revert to the old behavior until then

edit: I'm sure after it is all done and dusted the system will be more usable and lighter on the server, which is a win-win.

Thanks to those who posted detailed bug reports with all the info, I'll debug it locally in the next few days based on these and hopefully the next release will be fairly stable and correct. Right now though I'm going to watch some TV :-)

Hi. I'm new on this site, and just getting used to the interface. I'm playing in a game (don't want to say which as it's 'anonymous), and I can't issue orders. All my units are on 'hold', and if I change to 'move', I don't get a second drop-down giving the possible destinations. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is it a setting I need to make? or is it a new bug?

Click "Save" and the page will reload and you can put in the destinations.

Thanks, it seems to work around the problem. Unfortunately, you have to press 'Save' for each drop-down box that you need!

Believe it or not up until very recently you always had to do this jawjaw, we're currently trying to move it over to a system where it updates without having to click save each time, but that's actually the "normal" behavior and having it update instantly is the new behavior.

Hopefully I'll be able to restore it in a well tested state today
