Maybe it's because they live in an egalitarian and well-designed society and do a lot of things that are known to produce happiness. Sunlight and tasty food are good, but that's a tiny piece of the puzzle. Meanwhile, Americans are for the most part selfish and mean-spirited, which aren't conducive to health.

Omaha is consistently among the top 25 places to live in America. In fact it was #1 in the early 2000's

We have the #1 zoo in the world. Getting anywhere in this city by car takes 15 minutes at most. Its got great concerts, college world series. Its home to one of the worlds richest men (warren buffet) trust me this city is not bad at all.

Cost of living here is great. I have a 3 bedroom 1 bath for 750 a month. That much space in a city like Chicago or on the west coast would be double that price

On weekends that rather compact break can have twenty, thirty plus in the water, with half being clowns..the bobbing heads obstacle course. So it was so good to have only a few others in the water.

In terms of natural beauty and resources, the United States is exceptional.

This allows the US to export its inflation to the rest of the world and operate on a deficit budget. Second, the Republican form of government, which is rapidly eroding into fascism, is still beneficial to some extent as compared to other political systems.

The corporate-fascist state is a danger. It's medical, governmental, and food systems are horrible. We are in big danger of losing everything because of them.
