I have no idea why would you attack me although you saw that Persia was moving towards you, Egypt towards Persia and me towards Carthage... You was the one guilty for 2 way front, it was never 3, Egypt took Crete at the very end after you already fall down...
23 Jul 20 UTC	My move against you was defensive at first. I was expecting to get bounced in the Ionian... Egypt was moving against Persia and then just stopped, so the distraction I was counting on never happened. I also had no hope of getting builds by attacking Persia without completely exposing myself in the west.

25 Jul 20 UTC	I feel silly saying this to someone with your amount of wins but I think you're wrong. You ceded the initiative to Rome. Rome needs to war with Carthage. Carthage opened aggressively toward Egypt who could not fully commit to ending Persia with Carthage on the offensive. Maybe I could have sneaked my way in if I'd tried harder but cut Persia some slack for his defense was good. Rome just opened on all frontiers and you ignored them.
25 Jul 20 UTC	Personal opinion as someone who hasnt played much gunboat: you cant fully commit to one direction in gunboat. It won't give decent returns bcz the only acceptable return to full commitment is AT LEAST completely breaking the opponent's ability to harm you. You don't get enough time to do that before the other neighbor (Rome in this case) is knocking on the frontiers. Also Rome in this case played pretty aggressively which obviously was successful as he had biggest solo opportunity. Seeing as we cant talk, tactics becomes everything right? Open to contrasting opinions I'm still trying to figure it out.

25 Jul 20 UTC	This is exactly the promise with Greece. Rome ALWAYS opens on all frontiers. Massila and Vind are guaranteed at the end of the first turn. I could have risked a bounce in Dal, I suppose, but I didn't want to fall behind. After that, Greece has no essy SCs. Rome is perfectly positioned to claim Dal while Persia takes Cher. Meanwhile, Crete will always be under threat from Egypt, but it is much harder for Greece to attack any logical Egypt holdings. I did not not at all understand why you treated Carthage as a threat. Rome led basically the whole game and pressured Carthage, who also had the weakest start. I expected you to take Cyprus or Tyre without much difficulty when Persia overextended towards me, but when you didn't, I was overwhelemed. I find this very often happens to Greece, regardless of who I play as..

25 Jul 20 UTC	It is not different. Had Egypt only stopped at Leptis and not attacked me further, I could have done my job better. Carthago`s job is to stop Rom, Carthago can`t fight a 2 front war. And Persia did nothing to annoy Egypt in the West.
