30 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Ghana]:NEWS FOR SPRING 2001:

Asia seems to be gearing up for a major land war as builds indicate a battle for supremacy between the Pacific-Russians, the regular Russians, and the Chinese...

In the south the Australians are fighting the Antarcticans, known simply as the "Penguin War" to outsiders, as it began after an Antarctic ambassador stole all the penguins from the New Zealand National Zoo (Why? This Ghanian reporter doesn't even know what a penguin is, or if it actually exists, let alone why it is worth stealing). Obviously, the Australians weren't too happy about that...

Africa's a mess, enough said...

Europe, a stickler for tradition, appears to be gearing up for a Russian invasion through Poland...

North America is in complete chaos (no surprises there). The USA has invaded Mexico, probably after finishing the construction of "the wall", and making Mexico pay for it. Naturally, the Mexicans didn't like *that* idea, and, evidently, neither did the Western Canadians...

Finally, for some reason, Argentina has invaded Western Antarctica. Huh. Well then...

This is Ghana News reporting...
30 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Quebec]:Build that wall! Lock her up! Drain that swamp!
30 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [USA]:The surprise invasion of Canada was true after all
30 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Quebec]:Wha? What are you talking about?
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Quebec]:I'm just a peaceful canadian, enjoying my coldness and moose.
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Quebec]:is moose the pleural too? Or is it mooses, or moosi? Idk
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Ghana]:We don't have that animal in Ghana. And I believe the plural is "meese".
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Quebec]:I have too many of them. Do you want any to feed your people?
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Ghana]:No thanks, Quebec. We're fine. But by the looks of it, your people are going to need the food more than us. After all, Greenland isn't exactly what we'd call "resource rich".
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [China]:By 2050 Greenland is the new Florida .
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Quebec]:And that's all China's fault you hippie!
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [China]:Damn China ! It's a hoax ..
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [South-Africa]:Only animals in Ghana are turkeys...
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Quebec]:Hey at least they have...........sand!
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [Russia]:Plural is "moose".
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [India]:Is that a chocolate moose ?
01 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2001: [India]:I'm listening to Winnipeg's greatest band right now, can you guess who it is ?
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [China]:Nickel back ?
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [South-Africa]:oh good lord
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [India]:Well I'd like to day wrong, but if nickelback come from Winnipeg then we might have two great bands from Winnipeg.
I do like nickelback "s song " photograph"
I'll give you a hint for showing interest.. First I am an old fuddy duddy, so perhaps several decades before nickelback "s time.
Maybe I'm asking if you can guess who wrote the song " American woman " and it's not Lenny Kravitz ? That's right, "American Woman", covered by many bands was written by Canadians.
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [India]:And to South Africa, Oh good Lord is incorrect, "My sweet Lord" was a song composed by George Harrison of the Beatles
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [India]:Surely someone will guess who it is
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [India]:Thanks to China and South Africa for good attempts. See how music transcends, China and I are having quite a bit of fun in the game, and at the same time the player with China who appears to have good musical taste can engage with an enemy from the battlefield about music.
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [South-Africa]:India - just to correct you - George Harrison originally claimed to compose My Sweet Lord, but was successfully sued for plagiarism - can't remember who by.
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [India]:That is correct, welcome to World Diplomacy music chat
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [India]:George Harrison did a lot of studio work as a guitarist for other musicians and a lot of it using alias names to dodge contractual restrictions/legal issues etc in the first decade after the Beatles split.
04 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2002: [India]:Heard of the Abbott and Costello skit "who's on first base ? " Famous
Plagiarised slightly
TV game show quiz
Host: Guess who the band was from Winnipeg who wrote American woman ?
Contestant, guess who ?
Host : Yes Guess Who, ..well.
Contestant ( interrupting ) it might be nickelback, I'm not sure..
Host ( surprised ) you're changing your answer ?
Contestant: yes it's not nickelback, or led zepplin..ummmm, so..guess who ?
Host, sticking with your fist answer yes ?
Contestant No no, not nickelback.
Host So guess who instead.
Contestant I'm trying hard here, can I have a clue ?
Host, But you don't need a clue, it's simply guess who, you answered.
Contestant not nickelback.. Umm Fleetwood Mac ? Lenny Kravitz ? Oh I just cannot guess who..
15 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Quebec]:I quite
15 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Russia]:You can't quit, but you can order an all-hold
15 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: [India]:Or at least support holds between your two units beside each other..any delay you cause Western Canada might help his other rivals clip his wings. I get it, when you are getting smashed, bot look at the player with Antarctica, he just doesn't quit trying, & I'd encourage both players, with Antarctica ( with whom I an Oz have been having a great little war ) and with Québec to fight it out to the last sc
15 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Quebec]:I know I was just saying I'm dead.
15 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: [South-Africa]:India thinks he is a PLAYAH
15 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Never give up, you owe it to your people/penguins.
16 Dec 16 UTC Spring, 2005: [India]:Don't worry India will be joining the ranks of the defeated countries soon, that's a given, but I'll have some fun as long as I have units to have fun with.
23 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Libya]:Should we maybe choose some cool names for our alliances?
23 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Russia]:"We're In Trouble"
23 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Libya]:I was thinking about "Blacks & Russian" or something
23 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Pacific-Russia]:You don't get to pick names from now on x)
28 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [India]:The Triplet of Terror V The Oddest Quadruple ? V The ?
Four players that include two Mighty Powers, Western Canada and Brazil, and the Aussie Battler, who surprisingly tolerate a pipsqueak troublemaking homeless Mercenary in their noble company, currently have forth two ? sc's

Three other players, the Trio of Terror rampaging across the world controlling thirty eight sc's

Rounded out with the PAC Russia and China outfit with six scs
Frankly I'm struggling for a good name for these two bold warriors
28 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Quebec]:Who are the allies?
06 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Kenya]:Hey guys, how about we take out India and Pacific Russia and draw afterwards? I have the feeling that Western Canada could gain a little more, Libya and me should be able to push OZ back but everything will take ages and I'm not sure if one side can win in the end.
06 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Oz]:My draw vote is in, but I am not taking out India. It doesn't make much difference in sum of squares scoring.
06 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Brazil]:agree with oz
06 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Russia]:I agree, I don't think I can get any more centers.
06 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:Can i survive too then? :)
06 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Oz]:Pac Russia's survival will be up to Libya most likely.
06 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Pacific-Russia]:I mean its only 1 sc (A)
06 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Libya]:P-Russia fought well, and as much as it was annoying af, he deserves a survive.
07 Jan 17 UTC [Pacific-Russia]::] thank you
08 Jan 17 UTC [Kenya]:Looks like Canada doesn't want to draw...
