That 5 minute major led to a 3-0 lead and that was the end of it right there in the 1st period.

Bernier acted stupidly in the heat of the moment, I agree, but that has nothing to do with the terrible refereeing. First the missed call on Stall boarding Gionta, then it should have been a double minor tops on Bernier (Scuderi turned his back right before the hit and he was definitely aware of the impending hit, therefore able to protect or defend himself), but I guess the referees chose to judge based on the consequences (blood and broken nose) instead of the actual play. Then, one of the refs trips the Devil's defender and the play ends in LA goal #4.... At the end when the game is done, they made some more bad calls, but in favor of the Devils, to even things out!? I'm not saying the Kings didn't deserve the win, as the Devils' PK was terrible and they were very inconsistent throughout, but this game was definitely ruined by the disgraceful refereeing.
