I would like some informal feedback from people, and will also send out a questionnaire about the tournament.
What did you make of the scoring system? Was is a success, or did it have little effect on the outcome. Would you revert to a normal WTA system or not? How about a system that offers points for draws and wins, but not in the zero-sum way we normally expect?
What about the round-robin format? Was that a feature that improved the tournament or did it detract from the appeal? If you didn't like the scoring system, was this an aspect you enjoyed?
Which game should be the "wildcard", where you get a country that you will play twice? This year, it had to be first or second because I needed to buy time for kestas to write the power-choice code in. My instinct is to say last, but what do you think?
How did the longer phaselength work out? Did the games drag because of it, or was it helpful for improving playing standards?
Should pauses be limited strictly to keep games flowing, or would is it better to give people time?
And finally, congratulations to The Wizard (
userID=10873) on winning this tournament.
