what's your profession, Draugnar?
My undiscovered country... I'd have to say it's my future as a thinker and a writer. Can I write my play, write it well enough and get lucky enough to have it produced? Will I be able to leave for NYC and work NYC plays like I want to? And my friends, they mean so much to me... we'd like to stay togetehr, like Kirk and Crew, but our Enterprise has come and gone... can we really last forever?
And philosophy, active inquiry, originality, thought... that which I value above all else... I'm so obsessed with literature I have the nickname House/Holmes after those sleuths, complete with a friend who is my Wilson/Watson (even getting married and wanting to become a doctor, just like Dr. Watson and Dr. Wilson) and I have on ym MP3... a 26-part lecture from Yale on the Philosophy of Death, to the left of me works of Nietzsche, Locke, Mill, and Plato, downstairs Hume, I take Ethics...
I work to write literature and plays and ideas, to join that group... to be worthwhile, because of my belief, above nearly all- supreme in human beings is development.
Can I develop, can I develop others and help the process of gaining understanding... and can my friends and I stay together as we would like?
Undisovered thought and undiscovered futures... my undiscovered country.
