And don't be afraid to ask for advise what you did wrong or could have done better, after the game (or at the ending) to those who whooped on you. They usually are helpful unless you acted like a jerk.

Thucy, assuming you got that because you don't feel like you're gaining anything from your games play with only people you've never played with or have less often. Everyone has something to give at some point.

I'm going to touch on some controversial ground and suggest starting to play WTA.

I'll second that, I don't feel ready for em now except low points and the occasional one but they are brutal ^_^

Well, the masters will give you some good, budget brutality.

Well I mean. If I play WTA while I'm sucking (plateaued) then I'll lose all my points. Lol.

Play the league and masters. that's only 5 per game.

Also, the plateau is not equal to sucking, you're supposed to be in the top of your game so far.

I am playing with you and you have been most helpful to me.
Granted I am a noob and my advice is worth about squat.
I would reccomend the same advice I am considering (others are welcome to comment. I hope to learn too)
Don't jump readily at all offers that come your way. It is ok to have an enemy (as long as they are smaller and weaker)
Don't get discouraged. This game actually helps in real life.
But I am a narcissist in marriage counseling... (no BS)

Ask why. Many veterans will be more than happy to answer questions like 'Why didn't you take me up on my offer?' or 'What made you stab me?' I have found the answers to be invaluable in my quest to be able to kill all you people at will ;)

The other piece of advice is to keep in mind the ENTIRE board. I fear I am guilty of not following this advice at times. For example, you are Turkey, so you are paying attention to Italy, Austria and Russia. Finally you squash Italy and look up and England has almost one the game. Or you look up and England and France are so tightly allied that maybe you should have kept Italy alive to help you keep France out of the Med... The balance of power is so incredibly important, even if you are doing well in your little corner of the world, if someone else is doing even better..... Especially in a WTA game, doesn't matter if you kill Austria and Italy if England has killed France Russia and Germany. You're just the best loser at that point.
