Can I get rid of Notices on the Home-Tab?

My list of Notices is getting longer and longer. Is there an option to delete the oldest ones?

0.9 thread too full, or at least for me

The original 0.9 thread cuts off mid way through a post.

My question is: Kestas, are we no longer able to review the textual version of orders from completed turns? Not only to check for an occasional possible error but to see exactly what our opponents, and allies, have done?

There is: Look at the bottom of the "players box" under the map and orders. It says "Archive: Orders"

Click on "Orders" and you should get to see them

i'm also having a hard time viewing the long forum posts. i'm using firefox. i hear some are having this problem, and others aren't - any insight?

I'm also having no problems getting the whole thread. My only thought is that this is a timeout contributed to by a large thread and slow internet connection, but I can't really increase the timeout length with our shared hosting.

If someone who drops out has fast internet though I'd have to look somewhere else, but I'm not sure where because the forum hasn't changed much in 0.9

I can only see the end of the long threads if I zoom out the text so it gets really small.

Retreat phase (Spring 1911) in game http://www.webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=11456 was bypassed for no reason after the game showed up as "Crashed". The error would actually help me, but I don't think it's fair.

I use firefox and have the same problem with long posts. I heard someone say that they can see the entire posts in IE but haven't tried it myself.

Found the archive. I would swear it was not always showing up though. I will watch more carefully.

If not at the bottom or top of every page, at least the FAQ should have a complete legend of all the "symbols" used on the site and their meaning. Yes, I know you can hover over them to get a pop-up of their meaning. But, imo, this is something that should be more prominent.

URGENT - Confirmed, the archive either does not always show or does not show on some pages. Specific examples would be in G3 and G4 of the Premiere League. G3 has been showing it. G4 has not been showing it.

Only if and when you don't find the link.

It should normally be there, what TGM suggested is a workaround until the bug is found and fixed.

Another question about 0.9: What order (if any) is there to the game listings, particularly under the "New" tab? I know that the old version listed by pot value... this one doesn't seem to do that, or alphabetically. Does anyone know what it is doing?

kestas, I can't see the long forum posts either, and it's not a connection issue because it loads really quickly. It's something with firefox.

Feature removed?

One of the things I really liked about the last version were the little tabs across the top of every page that showed every game you either had new messages in, or hadn't finalized orders in. I'm not seeing that anywhere in 0.90 except as a list on the home page. Are there any plans to bring it back? It's the one thing I find I'm missing about the new version so far. The ability to toggle through all my active games without having to skip back to the games or home page was wonderful.

Unpause to Pause do we know the time left

I seem to recall that some games were paused with only a few hours left and then when they were unpaused there was short deadline. Is the new version different and do we know how much time is left if unpaused?

I and others warned Kestas we couldn't put orders into crashed games so...

Being as my one crashed game resulted in a disband that guarantees my elimination this year, I am taking a hiatus (possibly permanently) from this site. As soon as my remaining games are complete, I will be signing off.
