Our league, C3, has had it's fair share of NMRs, and one CD, and now seems to be interminably paused. It seems that others may have faced similar problems. What is going to happen as the games wind down?

I know I am guilty for going NMR a couple times, as I was waiting to hear from other players, who themselves went NMR. That is my fault, but it also points to a larger issue on some level. I had never gone NMR until the leagues, and I regularly play short time frame games (like 24h or less). I enjoy my fellow league mates, but now some are suggesting just drawing the remaining games. What can we do for the next round so that this doesn't happen? Will we get mixed up with others? Is there anything that I, as a simple league player, can do to help?

@rlumley: No, humans are just the vessels, the trafficking is for drugs.

@djbent: I assume most unreliable players from this season won't join the next. Also, as it happened at the beggining of this season, the players that played their full season last time will be put in higher leagues.

This will make it so that anyone who has played to the end, specially in C-level leagues and higher, will wind up playing against players who have also played to the end in their respective leagues, much like is happening with B-leagues this season (not more than one or two NMR per league, no dropouts).

So I think you should be alright.

well - in our league - C2 - we have had the same situation... soooooo many NMRs and I think 2 players that went CD and had to be replaced already... kind of annoying when the guy who's about to solo loses his enemy... very unbalancing.

dunno what solution might be other than to tough it out...

New leagues suffer NMRs and CDs, which is an inevitable problem. Next year things should have improved.

On the issue of C3for the remainder of this season- do I understand correctly that the problem is lazysummer being awol?

@ Captain Dave: That's how overly greedy but uneducated druglords get caught. If your using a human vessel to trafick drugs, it better be a well paid person with all the proper documents to enter the destination country.

Slaves and illegal aliens make bad mules, because they tend to escape or get caught, and then you've got the DEA on your ass.

@TGM and others - thanks, that's helpful to know. and yes, the problem at this point seems to be lazysummer gone awol. but at least one player has also suggested that the game play has been too badly damaged by NMR and CD that we should just draw the games. i don't want that to happen if it means we won't get the opportunity for game play like what xapi is describing in B leagues.

Do you guys want to play game 4 or not? I am ok if you want to cut it short at three games (Drop outs meant Group A was cut short last year, for instance).

Why don't you play just that one game that is left, with seven commited players (those who came through so far, and reliable substitutes), and define the positions based on that single game?

I haven't seen all the games, so maybe this is nonsense, but if all your previous games were ruined by CDs and NMRs...

i'll try to find out what people want to do. i am willing to play #4. part of the problem is that without lazy in games 2 and 3, the games will be super unbalanced, particularly #2 where it will allow russia to get a solo most likely (which he may get anyway, but still). so i think the ideal would be to get another replacement player, and have that person take over lazy's position, as well as join the fourth game. i will float this with people in the games and see what everyone says.

on the other hand, since we are so far behind (although i think others also haven't started their 4th game yet) we could just cut game 4.

@xapi - that is an interesting alternative as well. i'll bring that up, too.

ok TGM, 3 out of 7 have responded so far and would like to see a replacement for lazysummer8484, the NMRing CDing character that he is. can you start to find a replacement in the meantime, while we hear back from a few more folks? i'd like to see us restart these games early next week at the latest.

ok TGM, i think we're ready to go. the only one we haven't heard from is Argento, and he was on earlier today, so i think he'll be in.

what do you need to do to replace lazy in the games? hopefully not have him go CD? in any case, go ahead and do it.
