I see no reason for suspicion. He suggested that we work against Germany for him to regain Sev, but he promptly disappeared on me afterward (as did the first Russia which promised to Juggernaut with me). Supporting Sev has served well to protect my Armenian backdoor. I've never found a reliable Russia yet. xD (I do loath talking about games in progress in public, but if we must....)

That is true, many countries fall into CD and this happens more often than not when entry is less than 100 points. I'll note that the game in question is one such game, I don't recall exactly how much but with three takeovers, I'd say something around 5 points for entry.

And if he were going to cheat, why do it in a game with such a low pot? The one being discussed only has 48 points in it after however many CDs there were and it's points-per-supply-center no less.

Perhaps if Rait were to comment on more why he thought there was multiaccounting here. Nothing against either cjtk or ss1, but given Rait seems to have a tonne of experience, there may be other reasons he would suspect this? 7 games and 600 points ahead (whilst playing other games) is pretty impressive. I'm sure a mod could just confirm innocence etc (again, nothing against you SS1).

No, we did not get along, Invictus, as you are an effete phony.

But Sorosuub1 is a sophisticated multi-accounter IMHO. It makes sense that Multis would adapt their uses and accounts, making detection less obvious.

All I meant was that in my personal experience with you you seem to act rather irrationally and because of that I'd be inclined to give Sorosuub1 the benefit of the doubt, pending what the mods find.

I would get mad at you for calling me names, but I'd never heard "effete" before and think it's a rather cool word. According to dictionary.com it means:

1. lacking in wholesome vigor; degenerate; decadent
2. exhausted of vigor or energy; worn out
3. unable to produce; sterile

I don't know how I come across as any of those definitions, particularly the third, but it's a nifty word nonetheless.

The mods can tell where the internet connection is coming from. The only thing that makes investigations difficult is if its multiple people in roughly the same place. When dangermouse says "no connections on the surface" it probably means they don't live in the same region. Its safe to say they are probably innocent, or should atleast be presumed as such until evidence comes up to the contrary.

I also don't understand this little fight the Captain and Invictus are having. Rait started the thread, neither of you are accused, why flame eachother?

So aggressive CJTK - there isn't a need to be. I hate multiaccounting as well, and if you have real concerns, perhaps email a mod directly.. but it doesn't look great flaming a bunch of people publically. Invictus and Sorosub have both responded reasonably, and though again by all means have a mod check out the problem, we can at least keep this civil.. Just doesn't look great man :)
