New mobile website coming and happy Thanksgiving to those in the US

We are hoping to push a mobile website for webDip next week. If you want to check it out, it has been implemented on Vdip. We are very much looking forward to this change as it has been requested for multiple times and it looks pretty good. Let us know what you think.

I like the mobile site, but just a little change I think is necessary.

You’re able to switch between game notifications and PM notifications with the “Notices” Hyperlink. The game notifications is relatively centered but the PMs are not. I presume this is because they took the full ‘notices’ screen from the desktop page and just removed the game notices and kept the PM notices, keeping it on the left side of the screen.

It’s not a huge deal, but it’s kinda hard to look at aesthetically.

These feedback are great. Oli has made many changes already and if we can make some improvements on top of that (assuming Oli's codes are clean and compatible with the main branch), that would be awesome.

Yeah I was actually really impressed with how well it was done. And the page loads super fast too. You might wanna work on the implementing the mobile site as soon as possible or you might lose me to vdip ;)

Fair note, Oli is still working on the mobile view, so it may be different within a couple days. I believe he's made changes as recently as today on vDip. Including the change to allow users to opt out of the mobile site if they do not like it. I'd highly recommend taking that specific change once it is committed on git.

As long as there is an option to switch back because I personally am not a fan and my phone screen is huge anyway.

Demon, along with the obvious visual changes, there are some great subtler ones like text wrapping and post buttons disappearing that make it worth it even for those of us who fear change.

All work was done by Exectuor.

I did just some tests with the new mobile-home-view, but in the end now everything is back to the "normal" CSS-patch, as all other ideas had different kind of problems.
All I did was adding the opt-out-setting. But at the moment only 5 users have used the opt-out, so I'm not sure if it's worth the overhead.

The home-screen still needs some love in the new layout that can't be done in the CSS. The list is very long with the 3 separate rows put after each other, so you have to scroll a lot. Maybe a jump-list (similar to the game-tabs) or a click-to-hide can help with this.
