Sunday's Crash
Is there any way to remove a game from my home page. The game was a live game paused on Sunday after the crash of the server.Don't think we can get the seven involved to finish it as it was anon and arranging a time to get us all together again is almost impossible.Game ID # 22185.If a mod can do this would be thankful.

Firefox 3.6 chat box issues
Is anyone else having problems with the chat boxes in games after having loaded up to Firefox 3.6 from Firefox 3.5?I have to go to a different tab and then come back or click in the text of the old messages above and then back in the chat box to get it to let me enter messages. This is happening to me since I loaded one computer to 3.6. My other two computers I diplom on are on 3.5 and do not have this issue.

My mouse wheel doesn't work with webdiplomacy
I can't scroll the page with my mouse wheel. This has just started happening the last couple of days. At first I thought there might have been something wrong with my mouse, but there does not seem to be a problem with other sites.

BBC self boycott!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1251653/
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/media/tv-radio/1901731.html

Hilarious it may be, but is this not ridiculous? There have been many issues with falsified competitions recently, but surely that doesn't include satirical fake news coverage?

Also, to anyone interested - the idea is good but the first episode wasn't great.

Actually, I could see this. As it is airing on BBC, someone might tune in and see a familiar BBC news correspondent and think they were catching an actual "special report." But I'm from the US where Orson Wells radio play of The War of the Worlds caused a serious panic in 1938. It's estimated that of the 6 million listeners, approximately 1.7 million listeners believe it to be true and 1.2 million were genuinely frightened.

I read the second article. It gives more about the show and their reasoning is bunk. I agree it is stupid.
kestasjk (95 DMod(P))

Like Draugnar I can see where they're coming from, but they have allowed BBC news readers to appear in parody pieces before so there are probably concerns other than this article looks at

Yes sorry, perhaps giving the Daily Fail's opinion wasn't the most useful I could do.

In their defence I think that the fact these are almost truths do make the issue worse. When Torchwood says we're being contacted by aliens, any even slightly rational person can see its almost certainly untrue, whereas stories on this as almost true.
Ironically they used this very news story on the show :P

What?! You mean there isn't a rift running through Cardiff?! I thought that was a documentary! <Draugnar sobs uncontrollably now that his delusionary bubble has been burst.>
figlesquidge (2131 D)

Don't worry Draug - that was in Dr Who as well. That means the evidence corroborates, so it must be true!

Oh dear, I thought you were intelligent figles, but it seems you have fallen for the false made-up story about a fake parady show.

Shafto (138 D)

It was on TV, so it must be true.

"It's estimated that of the 6 million listeners, approximately 1.7 million listeners believe it to be true and 1.2 million were genuinely frightened."

I'm really curious about the .5 million people who thought Martians had invaded but weren't frightened.
