Poetry opportunities..?
There used to be great organizations that worked through my school for poetry in youth, but now that I actually have an appreciation for poetry it seems like there aren't as many opportunities to perform or compete with poems.
Is anyone aware of prominent high school poetry organizations?

Is this game getting less popular?
I remember using this site years ago and I felt I could always find games to join, or if I made a game it would fill up in a couple of days at most.

Is there another site that people are using to play? It still seems like this one is the best at least from my quick google.

Must See Movie Reccomendations
So I like movies a lot and one of my goals in life is to watch every movie that is worth watching. I've seen most of AFIs top 100 and I have a to-watch list that is 168 films and counting. As such, I was curious if anyone here has some must-see movies that I may not know about.

Music major?
I've considered pursuing a music major.. is the outcome worth the cost? It seems like the stereotype for music majors is that there's no real future.
What ARE the possibilities?

The Arab Spring was a horrible failure
Can you name any countries that benefitted from the Arab Spring? Libya is literally a slave-state, Egyptians overthrew one leader only to overthrow the next, Iranian arab spring failed, Syria is a bloodbath. Is there a single positive that came from this movement?

Why no love for Sum of Squares scoring?
Personally, I'm not a big fan of Draw Size scoring, because it rewards the power that hung on with one dot the same as the 17 SC power that was a hair away from the solo.

What I've noticed is that almost every new game is Draw Size Scoring. Is that just because it's the default option or are players here just not fond of it.

The Paris Uprising of 1832 was a horrible failure
Can you name any characters that benefited from the Paris Uprising of 1832? Éponine is literally and figuratively heartbroken, Jean Valjean overcame Javert only to die of old age in the next bloody act. Is there a single positive that came from this musical?

Who Are The Real Dinosaurs In Congress?
Republicans do a better job of promoting younger members, in part because they limit, to six years, the length of time a member can be chairman or chairwoman of a committee. Democrats do not impose term limits on committee leaders or so-called ranking members, the top slot for lawmakers who are in the minority.

GG scumbos.

Rdrivera worked out that Ike was suspect, but it was slightly too late and nobody else paid attention, when he was killed, that he'd been belatedly scumreading Ike.

Thanks Brain and Tom for hosting this game. It was brilliant all through! Great flavours and I realize that you have put lots of hard work put into this. I think this is greatly appreciated by all players. Thank you!

I was playing this a little like ghug in the sense that I did want to be town read, but still not to be to obvious town read. This since I did not want the question of "Why is Peter still alive" to pop up in peoples minds. Also my mind was set on being "semi active". I was afraid of overdoing it. But I also had my meta in mind which I assumed was tunneling and being a bit awkward launching new theories and presenting cases built on facts. I tried to keep up with this meta as much as being semi active allowed me to.

I also would like to thank my scum team. We pulled this through somehow. Ike and I had some nice chats in the Mafia QT. We managed to kill the most threatening townies when it was needed while still making sure that we had some lynchable townies left so we would not become lynchable alternatives.

Ezio and I agreed on tunneling each other D3. We did not know the outcome of this, but it turned out that Ezio got lynched and I bussed him heavliy by leading this lynch. D4 I had no plans on bussing Snowy, but since there was a wagon mounting on him and he was passive, I decided to bus Snowy too with 05:36 left to EoD. D5 and forward I had a problem staying active enough and I was not able to pretend to be so sure about my votes any longer. Also I saw that this was risky, but I wanted to fly under the scum radar so keeping a lower profile from D5 and onwards what what I did.

(Six months later the ruins of the slaughter are strewn about the mountainside)

(A wagon with oxen slowly inches up the mountain. )

Jebediah: Wow, look at all the bodies Donner!

Donner: Oh god

Jebediah: This is insane there must be thousands dead...

(Saurez and the Child emerge)

Child: Tell us about that magic butter churn!

Donner: Hey, that is rude. Dont you have manners?

Jebediah: It is fine Donner, were all cannibals here. Ill make you a deal boy. Lets tell this same story but add a gunslinger. A hero who can save us.

Donner: Naww that sucks

Saurez: Hmm, I love gunslingers.

(The Image of Jar Jar and Anakin appear)

Jar Jar: We so gon see dem again arent WE Annie!

Anakin: Yes, yes I think we will. And the Amish will pay.

Thanks to Tom and BB for GMing this one and congrats to scumteam for their win. Sometimes scum are just too good and I don’t think this was a town loss, more a scum win.

Jamiet99uk (808 D)
25 Nov 17 UTC
@HellenicRiot: I would be very happy to offer to GM the next one if that's acceptable to the community. I realise I lost my slot because of poor forum behaviour (albeit unrelated to Mafia) but if I am considered sufficiently redeemed then I'd be pleased to run the next game.

There is the advantage that I have a fully designed setup, which has benefited from review by DO and ND, all ready to go.
Jamiet99uk (808 D)

I would be equally happy to let DO have this one if she would like, and I could take the one after.
