What do people do outside of webDip?
Do people actually have lives outside of this game? What do people actually pursue with their existence? Who has the worst job? All of these burning questions, just waiting to be answered.

It appears the days where America cared about polar bears, rising sea levels, emissions, and trying to be a leader in changing our dying planet.... has all come to an end. RIP Earth.

WebDiplomacy Survivor - Final Tribal Council
35 days ago, 21 castaways begun their journey in the webDiplomacy version of the famous reality game show. Now, only three - Balki Bartokomous, DemonOverlord, Fluminator - remain, and all have fought tooth and nail to make it this far.

The final victor will be decided by eleven of the players they voted out, and this is their opportunity to sway votes their way. Welcome to Final Tribal.

@vash because you know I wouldn't betray you. It's that simple. And don't give me that bs about not being sure, you know how I felt about Chaqa as soon as the game started and you know what I'm like.

@balki - my timing is right you can go check. In the final four between me you and ghug, if I won immunity I would have eliminated Flum because I think he's most likely to win. You also would have eliminated Flum. Ghug probably would have eliminated Flum but maybe you idk.

I was as close to Vash as I was with ghug. There were things I told Vash that I didn't tell ghug. If I did everything ghug said then Bo would be here instead of Vash. You forced us together in the final tribe with your shit tier other tribe alliance and eliminating Vash.
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Would Balki have eliminated me over ghug in final 4? That's an interesting question.
"Would Balki have eliminated me over ghug in final 4? That's an interesting question."

I honestly don't know. Up until the last moment, I was playing everything with an eye towards getting from 4-3. I was glad to have options. As to who I would have chosen if given the choice, it's hard to replicate that decision in the abstract.
Demon, if I you thought I wouldn't betray you after you screwed me over, why would I do it before? Maybe just maybe I was trying to get you two to get along since It was likely we would get tribal immunity and I wouldn't end up on a tribe with all 3 of us at the merge. Or maybe if we didn't get immunity I was perfectly willing to sell Chaqa doen the river. (probably a x post)
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@Demon: And yes, I kind of did force you into your alliance when I voted Vash. Sorry about that.
Durga (3609 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Alright Vash I get it, you're not happy with me and I'm sorry. I didn't like Chaqa. Maybe I should have told you, maybe not. Either way I wanted him gone so that's what I did, in the event we didn't get immunity I absolutely didn't believe you'd let Moscow and Oztra live over Chaqa. You know I wasn't dishonest about protecting and allying with you. If you thought that because I'm very shocked since I thought we played really close together and I told you literally everything I heard at all times. Ghug made comments like "can't we just eliminate Vash he's useless" and I said absolutely not and got annoyed. But such is life.
@Ezio, I agree with what you've said above. You have "power of retribution." Absolutely. You can wield your jury vote however you decide to wield it. The jury decides who won and what to reward.

I guess part of my point is to say this:

If I was on the jury, my criteria would not be to vote for someone who had no role in sending me to jury, or someone who had the least blood on their hands. I'm not saying "vote for the biggest liar." Or "vote for the biggest jerk." I'm saying "vote for the person who played the best strategic game and made it to the end by playing the game hard and taking control of their own destiny."

There are different paths to the end. It is possible to make it to the end through your own actions, and it is possible to sit back, and make it to the end through more good fortune than good strategy. That's the question that I think every juror should be focused on: good fortune or good strategy. I think that revenge against someone with blood on their hands is most often the kind of vote that awards good fortune and penalizes good strategy.

That's my personal belief, granted. And part of my task is to convince you that it makes sense to look at the game this way.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Do you never throw games to burn someone who tried to cut you out? I'm certain that's the correct course of action.
My argument is that your game was not strategically sound. By pissing off all of these people, you are relying on all of us not wanting to take you down.
Demon's game was more strategically sound because she made fewer enemies along the way and she has a far better final 3 than you do.
For those who want to vote for people who controlled the game and stabbed everyone along the way, they have their choice of you or Flum.
For everyone who thinks along the lines that I do: the bigger your promise the more you should get burned when you break it, we're all clearly going to vote Demon.
This is the optimal final 3 for Demon, and a terrible final 3 for you. If that's not indicative of excellent strategic planning I don't know what is.
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
You acted first against me Ezio.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Oh you don't believe me when I said that was just to see if Snowy was still playing the game.
That's the truth and you were just too distrustful of me to believe it.
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
You just stabbed uclabb. Obviously if you target me after and say it's a reaction test when people warn me I'm not going to believe it.
That's great but loyalty and trust go beyond not wanting someone voted out. If you undercut your allies while saying you want to work with them, I don't find that exceedingly loyal or trustworthy.
That was to demon btw
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Also Ezio. You mentioned to Balki to vote me out to. Were you reaction testing Balki too?
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Sure you can look at it that way Flum. That's your choice and that's how you acted. You're still guilty of putting yourself in a terrible final 3.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Yea flum. If I want snow to actually believe I'm moving against you I needed to leak it to balki who would leak it to Snowy and you.
If I didn't tell balki it wouldn't seem serious to Snowy at all and he'd have no reason to react.
Durga (3609 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@Vash enough of that bs, you knew I always wanted Chaqa out.
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
The only person who I stabbed in the merge who wasn't appearing interested in voting me was ghug. (Probably because he knew he would win regardless who was in the end)
But demon also promised me she'd take me and ghug over Balki in final 4 so it seems like both of us were ready to be disloyal in final 4.
Durga (3609 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Anyway I swear to God half of the jury members commented once or none at all. Everyone commenting here already has someone in mind and likely won't change their vote.
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Also Ezio, if you really think it's unreasonable to not believe you targeting me was a reaction test, then there's nothing I can say.
Although Balki is the one who picked this final 3. I wanted snowy and Balki
@Ezio,

"Do you never throw games to burn someone who tried to cut you out? I'm certain that's the correct course of action."

No, I don't. I And I think that kind of self-centered spite does a discredit to the game and the people who play it. I think it's a shame when other people do that.

"Demon's game was more strategically sound because she made fewer enemies along the way"

This is another way of saying that Demon did less, sat back more, and relied on others to advance her in the game. That is not strategic soundness. Or maybe it is if you are very popular. It is not a "strategy" that I had at my disposal.

Also, your arguments about Demon playing better because she won at final jury are premature. Hopefully we'll hear more from Bozo, Bo, Vashta, CommanderByron, Oztra, and Moscow. Their votes are as powerful as yours. Your arguments also ascribe credit to Demon to something that was entirely based on luck. Demon had no control over who made final jury. She survived because Fluminator and I chose her. She voted for herself in the last vote.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
I don't think it's unreasonable for you to stab me.
If the final three was the one you wanted, I would certainly vote for you over Snowy or Balki. Why did you agree to take out Snowy then?
You didn't have to do it then, you didn't have to do it that way and I certainly don't have to think it was the right thing to do.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
If that was the final 3 I would certainly have voted for you Flum.
Durga (3609 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Lmao you really had no control either Balki. Only Flum did. Don't kid yourself.
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Ghug convinced Balki to vote out snowy.
Up until the last hour I was telling Balki that we needed to take out ghug.
I did not want snowy going that round.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@balki so what are you supposed to do when nations attempt to cut you from the draw balki? If you tell them (as I told you) if you stab me I will do whatever I can to see you lose, and then they stab you, are you not supposed to throw?
I will every time. I don't make empty threats. If you stab me and I can still touch the game, I will do everything I can to see you lose.
Durga (3609 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Vash, Balki would have stabbed the living shit out of you. But believe what you will.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@Ghug can you verify that? Did you seriously convince Balki this was the optimal final 3 for him?
@Balki is what Flum said true?
