Movement Question

Say Country 1 has units A and B and Country 2 has units C and D. What would happen if A supports B to C, and C supports D to B at the same time? Do the moves cancel out, or does B move to C (dislodging it) and D moves to B?

Rulebook Press?

Can someone explain what rulebook press means? I am playing a game and suddenly can't post messages individually any more and I am assuming I inadvertently broke some rule - thanks This term is mentioned in the rules but not described anywhere I can find.

No Build phase

Hey guys. I'm a new user and I'm playing a game with friend (ID is 206642) and I'm wondering if there is a bug or a rule we missed. I'm playing as Germany and I have 6 supply centers, 5 units and no build phase. I'm also curious if the game didn't register a capture of a supply center. I was in Warsaw and then took Moscow the next turn. I captured Moscow and not Warsaw. Can a vet help out some newbies?

Study music recommendations

Hey guys I'd appreciate it if you could recommend music that's helpful for studying. I ( like many) find it difficult to concentrate on immediate concerns like getting physics homework out of the way or starting a paper on whatever subject. I've tried classical music and it helps though some classical music I imagine is better than others for this. If you can recommend artists I'd appreciate it.

What about an end year for quick games?

vDip (and so many others sites and apps) has the option to include a fixed end year (like 1907), which is awesomely useful for quick games or tournaments of all kinds.

It is 2094. Earth is a ruined planet. You and your fellow colonists must choose a planet - settle it, trade, deal with bandits/aliens/inclement weather/droughts/famine/disease/ and intruige. @CommanderByron Got it. As for the procedure it all seems good, my only recommendation would be to establish 2 person control between you and the engineer, that way their is objective quality evidence that you did everything properly and no one meddled around with our friendly cyborg.

@Tweeters - thanks - yes I remember reading about that now - just didn't realize it equated to the Wall E proposal. Hmm. not sure about that one ... if we're happy with new planet it will become home ... but if there is ever a chance to reclaim earth, then great.

Yup - a functioning cyborg shouldn't have 2 different thought patterns unless its been messed with // some wiring off. 2 thought patterns -- especially if one is disjointed - - is potentially dangerous to the colony

No no, I know, I'll happily go through the psyche evalve to prove what I'm talking about. The AI said that it would talk to you guys directly during it's evaluation for the glitches and signs of hacking. For those of you saying it's dangerous as a potential 'thought pattern' it's an assistant AI, I signed up for that when I received the implants, it's in the intended coding. You'll find that out soon enough when you chat with it

The AI will be shut off, i'm just analyzing the code and scripts for bugs and signs of tampering. No need to talk to the AI, wouldn't help anyway AI doesn't work like human thought; so talking to it would be like talking to a computer program with optimum answers for every inquiry. Not really helpful.

Deluxe dont worry this is for your own good, once we know the AI is not damaged and you aren't crazy, then people will trust you with power and influence. I know i wouldn;t vote in favor of you running anything until i know you aren't compromised.

Haven't heard from the mechanic in a while. Hopefully me and him will get a chance to talk so he knows whats going on and that he was volunteered to make sure i don't .... do something harmful??? (or whatever tweekers thinks im going to do, personally he just seems mad that Verbosy and chill didnt become a thing)

@tweeters - in most voting bodies a no vote = an abstain. so a proposal with 2 yays and no nays would pass. even if there are 9 voting members.

Don't worry think of it like a more complicated virus scan on a personal computer. Only difference being I have to scan more than just the files but the processes and I can't do that without disconnecting the CPU.

Ok - that's what i mean - you are definitely malfunctioning if we are hearing you .. and the AI ... those are 2 different thinking patterns / 2 different "personalities" (for lack of better word) ... we'll never know which one we are dealing with... and which one will act in a crisis etc.

## friendly request from GM to further explain role of President .. how assigned / independent of the Serbian government or not / etc. also - if the President vetoes a vote, does basically 'nothing' happen? example - president vetoes majority vote on which planet we go to ... that means we can't depart until a new vote occurs, new discussion ??

Whos butt do you have to grab to get a game going on this site?

Ive tried to post invites to two different dip games this past week and as far as I can tell theres 5 forum games going, the mod team keeps offering only elitist top GR 100 games or huge pot games nobody outsode the upper ten % could join.
