bent - I'm content being a mentor this time around (specially with Jacob commenting hahaha). I'd put myself forward as a possible player for game 6 however. so i say lets have fk knock it out of the park for us instead ;)

as for the students... we have tremendous candidates... but obviously with only 5 spots, many will be disappointed. However, if they truly want to improve their game, they will have A LOT to learn by following the game, reading the comments, and asking questions... and I think this game 5 will provide candidates for game 6 to show the administration that they are serious about learning and improving their game...

with that said, I think we are going to have a great class and I look forward to following it closely.

Thank you for selecting me. I would have participated more but I didn't want any pointless banter from me distracting the works of the rest of you.
To repeat my earlier statements I will focus on Sow. As my other 3 games finish (2 more will be this week I'm sure) I will not start any so as to focus here. I wish to take as much from this experience as possible.

@C-K & Centutian I am one of "those" players that will play with words and try top get you to slip. I often force a person to say EXACTLY what they mean, or phrase it the way I want it and get an agreement.

I'm happy to help mentor (though commentating did sound like more fun). Can you explain how the semantics works..... what I will be advising on exactly? ..... i assume anyone in the game can ask me questions or am i looking after a set bunch? And how will communication work.... would prefer perhaps they email me; rather than through the site (not really got the hang of the new UI yet).

Lastly - what time is KO? (this thread is too long to keep up with).

I work 2 jobs and while on the ambulance it is hard to predict what I will be able to do and when...

Also, as a first comment, to the people concerned about number of games played simultaneously:
Quantity and quality have no direct link here. Playing in too few games means one tends to get more involved into the game, and loses a bit of perspective.
Also, if the games goes bad it gets kind of depressing. 5-10 games works best for me.

@djbent- would engaged == posting often here? I'd love to join the next one.

i hope to learn how to make an effective stab cause really i'm getting depressed it either i fail at stabbing or i get stab and insufficent defenses

A large degree of paranoia and talking a lot can help detect/prevent stabs.
