Poetry opportunities..?
There used to be great organizations that worked through my school for poetry in youth, but now that I actually have an appreciation for poetry it seems like there aren't as many opportunities to perform or compete with poems.
Is anyone aware of prominent high school poetry organizations?

Is this game getting less popular?
I remember using this site years ago and I felt I could always find games to join, or if I made a game it would fill up in a couple of days at most.

Is there another site that people are using to play? It still seems like this one is the best at least from my quick google.

Must See Movie Reccomendations
So I like movies a lot and one of my goals in life is to watch every movie that is worth watching. I've seen most of AFIs top 100 and I have a to-watch list that is 168 films and counting. As such, I was curious if anyone here has some must-see movies that I may not know about.

The Arab Spring was a horrible failure
Can you name any countries that benefitted from the Arab Spring? Libya is literally a slave-state, Egyptians overthrew one leader only to overthrow the next, Iranian arab spring failed, Syria is a bloodbath. Is there a single positive that came from this movement?

Why no love for Sum of Squares scoring?
Personally, I'm not a big fan of Draw Size scoring, because it rewards the power that hung on with one dot the same as the 17 SC power that was a hair away from the solo.

What I've noticed is that almost every new game is Draw Size Scoring. Is that just because it's the default option or are players here just not fond of it.

The Paris Uprising of 1832 was a horrible failure
Can you name any characters that benefited from the Paris Uprising of 1832? Éponine is literally and figuratively heartbroken, Jean Valjean overcame Javert only to die of old age in the next bloody act. Is there a single positive that came from this musical?

Who Are The Real Dinosaurs In Congress?
Republicans do a better job of promoting younger members, in part because they limit, to six years, the length of time a member can be chairman or chairwoman of a committee. Democrats do not impose term limits on committee leaders or so-called ranking members, the top slot for lawmakers who are in the minority.

The survivors gather around the camp fire. It wasn't cold but they figured if they were going to eat someone tonight they may as well get them a little pre-cooked first. "Tell us a story old timer" shouted one raging young man. The old man cleared his throat and with a maniacal look in his eye said "Which story do you want?"

The guy in the red-sox cap bowed his head hoping the story-teller had forgotten witnessing his naive stupidity years before. Stupidity that had resulted in the old man throwing him under a bus.

The thug who couldn't spell wished the world would swallow him whole. He'd been led a merry dance by the old man so many times and wished that one of those encounters weren't the subject of tonight's story.

The only lady in the crowd remembered how the old man had appeared such a oath when they first met, but know she had a secret crush on him. He was after all the most Handsome man to ever come out of Handsomeville.

The young dude with hair like snow remembered how he had pitted his wits against this master some time ago and been found wanting as he was unarmed. The elderly teacher also looked on remembering how he had lied to the storyteller years before about visiting his father and that he had been discovered in that lie.

The old man continued. "Long ago, back in the day before P.C. Peter Plod took copious notes there was a master detective: D.C.I Corner of Scotland Yard. His logic was impeccable, his tenacity legendary and his mustache waxed to perfection. His greatest case catching the illusive MintyBoy Murderer. It was with shear dedication and attention to detail that he discovered that the witness statement provided by the MintyBoy Murderer, one of thousands of pieces of evidence, had a single flaw in it. He had said he was on a train from Exeter to London for 4hrs and 22 mins and therefore could not have committed the crimes of which he was accused. With an encyclopedic knowledge of all train tables in that vicinity (and a little help from google) Corner of the Yard calculated that the train took less than two hours leaving ample time to commit the crime."

The survivors were in awe.

"Wow how can someone so brilliant also be so handsome?" the said, almost in unison.

The night drew in and the happy band fell asleep knowing taht one of them might not wake up but secure in the knowledge that if they looked after the old man he would make sure most of them survived.

Catch up reading and can't find nothing really interesting.
Ezio no lynch stuff is stupid, but he did this every game so it's not alignment indicative.
I also find Ghug and DO interaction really weird, but don't know what it means.

Let's not lynch Maniac he's fun
peterlund (1310 D(G))
02 Nov 17 UTC
So what has happened so far?

First ghug claimed to be scum, seemingly looking for attention in his usual diva manners. As DO pointed out, doing so is stupid in all cases. If ghug is scum, claiming scum is stupid since he probably die for this and his scum team get closer to loosing the game. AND also in the case that ghug is town, why would ghug fake claim to be scum? The risk is only that town looses a full day to lynch a fellow townie. ghug is clearly not taking this game seriously and this simple fact alone makes it logical that he dies so the rest of us can get on with playing the game! "I thought it'd be fun" was his reasoning for claiming.

Second Ezio does his silly "VOTE No-Lynch" shit again. Why? Is he just doing it to comply with his META? Is he afraid of how people would read that Ezio would not argue for No-Lynch again? Keeping up to this silly meta, is becoming worse and worse. Ezio seems like a very good alternative lynch to ghug.

Bo wrote "I'm gonna get N1ed, don't bother voting for me." I guess we'd better remember this statement if Bo still is alive day 2.

ghug "As a vegetarian, I'd rather not eat anyone." No problem I am willing to eat vegetarians like you ghug. All the meat I have in my freezer are from vegans. :)

snowy801 "alright mf is scum and peter and ike are town" in his second posting and "byron is town too" in his third posting. Snowy what makes you believe in those statements already on page 3?

No MS-paint art from Vecna yet. :/

Maniac. I am in CET so I need to sleep one hour before you, who are in GMT.

Ezio Day-1 29:58 page 6 "sorry @@call GM is an unvote a vote for NoLynch?"

brainbomb same page "Yes."

Really??? I thought we could have 18 unvotes and 1 vote for ghug and ghug would get lynched. But if we have 9 votes for no-lynch and 8 votes for Ezio, no-lynch it would be.

##callGM please explain how no-lynch/unvote works.

##GM NOTE
.our participatiom rules are as follows.
You must post twice and vote once.

You may vote no lynch
You may also vote someone and then unvote

For the purposes of simplification, unvoting anyone delegates your vote as a vote for no lynch.

If you vote no lynch
Then unvote
Yer still voting no lynch

This is new! In previous games an UNVOTE was not counted at all. I do not mind the change, but it is great that we all now know that you count UNVOTE as identical as a NO-LYNCH vote...

Sorry guys I was at this thing called work. I’m back. Let me try to answer as many questions and enter my final vote.

I voted DO as a joke (figured that was obvious as I proceeded to discus how she would taste) your input had no input

My unvote wasn’t intended to be a no-lynch. However I’d rather have a no-lynch than a mis-lynch.

For that reason I am staying on no-lynch unless I see some better scum tells.
Durga (3609 D)
02 Nov 17 UTC
How the hell is unvote the same as no lynch
peterlund (1310 D(G))
02 Nov 17 UTC
@rdrivera: The bot sums UNVOTEs and NO-LYNCHes up separately. Brain being the GM can and should publish results exactly as he wishes to. If he wish to sum them up he should do so. But I, as a player, just want know what the rules we are playing by in this particular game. :)

@guak ... when did I "humor" Ezio, and what does that even mean?

@peterlund ... "I guess we'd better remember this statement if Bo still is alive day 2." Yeah, dude. Remember it. I get N1ed in at least half of these games anymore because I actually put the puzzle together. I get N1ed in Discord games for the same reason. I get lynched if I do nothing; I get nightkilled if I do something. It's a wonder I'm not captainmeme yet and show my face prior to D4. You should appreciate that.

@Byron ... if you think that no lynch is better than a mislynch on account of the fact that we have no information, then you need to actually think instead of vomiting onto your screen and then hitting the post button.
