Poetry opportunities..?
There used to be great organizations that worked through my school for poetry in youth, but now that I actually have an appreciation for poetry it seems like there aren't as many opportunities to perform or compete with poems.
Is anyone aware of prominent high school poetry organizations?

Is this game getting less popular?
I remember using this site years ago and I felt I could always find games to join, or if I made a game it would fill up in a couple of days at most.

Is there another site that people are using to play? It still seems like this one is the best at least from my quick google.

Must See Movie Reccomendations
So I like movies a lot and one of my goals in life is to watch every movie that is worth watching. I've seen most of AFIs top 100 and I have a to-watch list that is 168 films and counting. As such, I was curious if anyone here has some must-see movies that I may not know about.

Music major?
I've considered pursuing a music major.. is the outcome worth the cost? It seems like the stereotype for music majors is that there's no real future.

The Arab Spring was a horrible failure
Can you name any countries that benefitted from the Arab Spring? Libya is literally a slave-state, Egyptians overthrew one leader only to overthrow the next, Iranian arab spring failed, Syria is a bloodbath. Is there a single positive that came from this movement?

Why no love for Sum of Squares scoring?
Personally, I'm not a big fan of Draw Size scoring, because it rewards the power that hung on with one dot the same as the 17 SC power that was a hair away from the solo.

What I've noticed is that almost every new game is Draw Size Scoring. Is that just because it's the default option or are players here just not fond of it.

The Paris Uprising of 1832 was a horrible failure
Can you name any characters that benefited from the Paris Uprising of 1832? Éponine is literally and figuratively heartbroken, Jean Valjean overcame Javert only to die of old age in the next bloody act. Is there a single positive that came from this musical?

Who Are The Real Dinosaurs In Congress?
Republicans do a better job of promoting younger members, in part because they limit, to six years, the length of time a member can be chairman or chairwoman of a committee. Democrats do not impose term limits on committee leaders or so-called ranking members, the top slot for lawmakers who are in the minority.

Hmmm. Nice job team. The question is with snowy and Ezio being scum. How did they interact and can we mix those interactions to see who is connected will read when i get home.
ubercacher16 (283 D)

Yeah, flavor has been awesome. Also ghug is the kid.
bozotheclown (2498 D)

Nice job getting snowy. However, ghug did not make himself look any better by trying to redirect the lynch from snowy to Maniac.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
Mmm get rekt snowy
CommanderByron (801 D(S))
13 Nov 17 UTC
I’m not too sure redirecting the lynch was the smoking gun because I was also doing that and I know for a fact I am town.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
I still haven't read the last couple hours, but bussing someone into viability and then jumping off is not what scum do at all.
CommanderByron (801 D(S))
13 Nov 17 UTC
We NEED to lynch ghug or maniac next day. We need to know who tried to push off the scum bus. And as unfortunate as it is for ghug I think ghug is best lynch for tomorrow.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
We've lynched the person I've wanted to two days in a row and caught scum both times and you morons still want to lynch me? Smh
CommanderByron (801 D(S))
13 Nov 17 UTC
@ghug- I’m okay with a maniac lynch but you were the other wagon most of D4 and knowing if you were scum or town would help to narrow down the search. Or atleast that’s where my mind is going. If someone has better ideas feel free to voice them.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
EoD6, ghug lynches the last scum...

Brain: {Dead player} has been killed. He was the kid, a vanilla mafia. Game has ended. TOWN WINS

Jamie: Another townie? I told them not to!

Uber: I think we should consider a ghug lynch tomorrow. It would give us lots of information.

Jamie: #CALLGM Can you not use the words "town" and "scum" anymore? They are very unclear.

Byron: I think we've learned a lot from this, and if ghug is a wagon tomorrow we can get another step closer to solving the puzzle. Great job guys!

Oztra: righto
##VOTE ghug

ND: Get ghug!

Jamie: @ghug, what do you think of this newfound pressure on you? I must say it is suspicious that you've nearly been lynched so many times.

bozo: I'm sorry I missed EoD. It seems I've been lynched. This was a bad decision. Ghug would have been much more revealing.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
For real though, I love information as much as the next guy, but this shit has yielded enough to get it right two days in a row as is. We've got three more mislynches and it's absolutely pointless to waste them on anyone except people you scumread.

I need to think about wagons a bit, but I probably want to get Maniac or Bozo tomorrow. Outside chance I'll want Byron or ND or someone.

Do people think Jamie is faking the vanilla reaction thing? If he isn't, he's town, and I'm inclined to think that he isn't.

I should be thanking you idiots. The constant prospect of my lynch is keeping the nightkill off me.
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
"I still haven't read the last couple hours, but bussing someone into viability and then jumping off is not what scum do at all."

I think this is exactly what scum would do to get a town lynch and still get credit for identifying scum when they eventually flip, not to mention that this is what scum would say try to cover it up.
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
I think it was suspiciously convenient that ghug was able to "catch" snowy at the beginning of D4 after town reading him for 3 days. Now ghug is trying to take credit for lynching Ezio and snowy, even though he tried to get Maniac lynched at EOD both days, switching back to Ezio and snowy only when it was obvious his attempts to lynch Maniac had failed.
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
"The constant prospect of my lynch is keeping the nightkill off me."

Here ghug also throws in a comment to try to deflect the suspicion of him for not being NKed yet.
guak (3381 D)

Bozo and Ike round out the team.
CommanderByron (801 D(S))
13 Nov 17 UTC
Maybe Maniac is a better lynch. Here me out ghug pushes him both days a scum was lynched. It is entirely possible Maniac is town and if he flips town I’d be very comfortable scum reading ghug but if he is scum we can almost certainly town clear ghug.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
Bozo, if you're town, I want you to take a good long look inwards at how you could possibly be this obstinately stupid after I mislynch you tomorrow. If you're scum, I want you to promise to be better if we're ever scum together.

I caught snowy cause Ezio flipped and I looked back over the wagons. It wasn't exactly rocket science. The confirmation bias here is ridiculous.
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
@guak: What about Jamie, who you ended D1 voting for (in the form of Heywood), or rdrivera, who you voted D2, or CB, who you voted D3?
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
@ghug: What about the wagons made you so sure of snowy?
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
Also, I like how you already justified my flipping town if you are successful in getting me lynched.
CommanderByron (801 D(S))
13 Nov 17 UTC
Clearly it isn’t CB because I can town clear him.

@Bozo are you capable of town clearing Bozo?
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
@CB, I do not think it is necessary to lynch Maniac to try to determine ghug's alignment, when lynching ghug will accomplish it without any doubt.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
Ok, both of the scum lynched have been marked by a disproportionate number of the final votes coming from very small pools of players. What's that about?
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
@CB: No, I can't clear myself from other player's perspectives, but I do consider you almost certainly town based on your reaction to Ezio's lynch.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
Bozo stop asking stupid questions.

If you were paying real attention to the game, you'd know exactly why the only person you ever vote for was voting for the scum he just caught. I'm not gonna spoonfeed you answers you don't actually care about so you can play the part of someone being productive.
ghug (5068 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
Bozo, do you townread Jamie for the same reason you townread Byron?
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
@ghug: I reread everything you posted after Ezio's lynch and did not find anything about why Ezio's lynch made you suspect snowy. However, I have been paying attention to the game, which is why I think I know why you voted for snowy.
bozotheclown (2498 D)
13 Nov 17 UTC
@ghug: I do town read Jamie for the same reason as CB, although there is a slight chance he could have noticed what CB did and tried to fake the same thing to look town. However, both of their reactions seemed real to me.
Maniac (189 D(B))
13 Nov 17 UTC
Commander - I town read you, I know you’re trying but you’re entire effort seems to be focussed on me and Ghug, both of whom lynched scum 2 days in a row while you were on a Towny. Time for you to clear your mind and take a good look at others with fresh eyes.
