If you meant the other post - you don't seem that much like you're actually hunting scum, I haven't seen you doing that. Also, could you explain why you trust who you trust?

How could anyone trust anyone? Only people who could trust someone now are mafia and the cop. Other than that we should all be paranoid at this point

@DL9: Well, there is the whole dropping the "vanilla townie" schtick. I actually liked playing that way, but it is a bit too strident and annoying.

Yes DL I meant the other post. The people I posted about were only people I am inclined to trust for now, and as I said when I mentioned them, no particular reason yet for them aside from intuition. I hope to make a longer post later listing my reasons. I am also taking a more observant role in Scum hunting, being a target instead of actually accusing people for now, as I said I would in the very beginning. My accusations will come later.

Tr, I am beginning to suspect some people but want to watch how they interact with others just a bit more before I begin asking them questions. I have found it useful just watching who was asking me questions and what they were asking.

I believe the game was M7, when he was aggressive and kept posting the catchphrase. In general, very annoying player, he was town as he's always been I think - now, he's more composed and not on my nerves as much, which is surprising

@TrPrado: that's the thing on D1 that is too easy to fake. Thus, pretty worthless at this point. You can have a town read on someone, but you cannot really trust someone. Two different things right there

guak always waits before doing anything. Usually he ramps up around day 3 or so, and is more active towards the ends of days. I'm not quite sure why, but that's his style, at the very least.

You are saying I am joking. I am not. Right now my vote being on bo makes as much sense as on anyone else because none of us has a clue of what we are doing. Generating discussion is what is important. So, think whatever you want about my activity, but I know what I am doing.

Call it whatever you want, guak. You've probably seen bo and I interact on the forums. I had to get in the first punch here. I'm actually surprised he isn't more on top of this game. He usually is one of the first to contribute.

@phil: the reason is precisely because we are so clueless early on. There is no way I can get a good read on anyone before at least a couple of flips have happened. Then you can really start making connections and recognizing scummy behavior by going back to the thread and rereading. Right now, it is all random guesswork

I feel that ND, Tr, Yoyo and Balki are trying to lead things more which is why I am trusting them for now. They also appear to be asking for more explanations in their questions while also being as clear as possible.

I'm really confused by your whole "everyone suspect me and question me first" group of posts. I don't think that effective hunting is so artificial, and I don't believe your volunteering to be scrutinized means that you are actually being scrutinized, or that emerging without votes from this exercise means anything. Your suggestion that you are now "being a target" just because you volunteered as such before anyone had any evidence on anyone, implies falsely that you might emerge exonerated.

I'm trying to decide whether this makes you suspicious or misguided.

Wow, this is much busier than where I usually play. Should have no trouble posting five times a day. I think it's important yup vote to kill on the first day. The more people who vote to abstain, the less information we have. Of course we have no real information the first day, so my vote is effectively random, but I'll say ##VOTE Jeff.
