What do people do outside of webDip?
Do people actually have lives outside of this game? What do people actually pursue with their existence? Who has the worst job? All of these burning questions, just waiting to be answered.

It appears the days where America cared about polar bears, rising sea levels, emissions, and trying to be a leader in changing our dying planet.... has all come to an end. RIP Earth.

WebDiplomacy Survivor - Final Tribal Council
35 days ago, 21 castaways begun their journey in the webDiplomacy version of the famous reality game show. Now, only three - Balki Bartokomous, DemonOverlord, Fluminator - remain, and all have fought tooth and nail to make it this far.

The final victor will be decided by eleven of the players they voted out, and this is their opportunity to sway votes their way. Welcome to Final Tribal.

I don't think I have a hate boner for you. Why do you think that?
I mean you only voted for me every chance you could and put all your penalty points on me at the immunity challenge for what you said were purely non strategic reasons...

Kay, uclabb & others - here, I didn't really edit it but it should be mostly fine:

Entente Tribe
So the game started with me in a tribe with Balkins, Chaqa, Vash, Oztra, Moscow, and Manwe. Balki messaged me the very second the game started with a large appeal on how we should be long terms, I said ok. I had a plan to be secret allies with Chaqa since we openly dislike each other and he was pretty down for it. I never planned to actually stick to this, in fact I wanted him gone fairly early. We came up with a mafia alliance to vote off Oztra and Manwe. My real plan was to ally with Balkins and Vashy for the long run in this tribe and probably Moscow too at this point. I got Manwe to vote for Chaqa while the rest of us voted for Manwe, two people voted for Oztra but that was moreso because they wanted him to use his idol.

Balkins leaves with the understanding that the mafia alliance (Chaqa, Vash, MF, Balkins & myself) was going to continue and we’d vote out Oztra. But I guess I didn’t really feel like doing that, it was kind of boring and he was funny. Whereas I really couldn’t bring myself to trust Chaqa, if there was going to be someone in this tribe unwilling to work with me it would be him. The only issue was that Vash and Chaqa were really close. I also wanted to break that and force Vash to rely on me instead. So I needed Chaqa out this turn. So Vash and Chaqa voted Oztra following the plan we laid out the turn before, but I got Moscow and Oztra to vote for Chaqa by saying that the Vash-Chaqa block needed to be broken asap. I got what I wanted, Chaqa was out. We got immunity for the next vote.

Sharp Tribe
Here I was joined with bo, ghug, MoscowFleet, Flum, CommanderByron, and Oztra. So I don’t know why people are so keen to pick off who they perceive as weak first but that was the deal in this tribe. There were a lot of messy alliances going on here. Ghug-bo were a thing, Moscow figured the mafia alliance (which for some reason didn’t include ghug-bo) was going to go strong despite the fact that I had kicked off Chaqa the turn before. CommanderByron and Moscow seemed to get along. I got along with everyone, especially Flum and ghug. Based on forum interactions with CB I was hoping he would be amiable and follow what I wanted but he was a bit more headstrong than I was hoping for. I would deal with that later. Oh yeah, I got the white rock and the vote advantage (2 votes).

So I had my pick of alliance at this very pivotal type. There seemed to be ghug-Bo as a pair and then CB-MF as a pair, Flum and I were floating and playing both parties and Oztra just kinda voted the way I asked him to - which was pretty great for me. I got Oztra to vote for Bo just in case someone pulled some idol shit. Ghug-bo wanted to vote off Oztra which I didn’t really like the idea of, but even worse - Moscow & CB were going to vote ghug. I absolutely did not want that so I was forced to make a choice here - Oztra or ghug? I didn’t want either so I convinced bo-ghug-flum that if they want to cut a member of that alliance down that the best way to do it is to go for the head guy, which would be MoscowFleet. Moscow was clearly the biggest threat there and I got him eliminated over the other two.

So I actually thought I’d want to keep around CB - but he was actually fairly stubborn and all that talk about me being the love of his life was a lie. Which kinda sucked but whatever, Ghug-bo-Flum were ready to vote out Oztra at this point, and I got Oztra & CB on Bo again lol. So I didn’t want to cause a tie in case someone I liked died, and I didn’t feel like using my vote advantage quite yet. Figuring that CB would never actually listen to me, I told the others it was time to vote him out instead. That went through instead of Oztra.

Flum switched tribes, we got Vashy in instead - I knew who I wanted to go to the final tribe with me. We voted off Oztra and Bo off. Sorry dudes.

Final tribe
Jesus you can all just read the global here because I pretty much outlined all of what I wanted here but I’ll kinda go into it anyway.

Right off the bat I was told there was some kind of crazy weird ass Brisbane alliance or w/e crap and I wasn’t having any of it. We lost Vash, which was shocking and a bit of an oversight on my part but then I started shitposting in global so that they wouldn’t vote off ghug and I like the boring shits they were (because holy crap). I actually really liked Ezio and wish he wasn’t fighting ghug, but snowy was a bit checked out of the whole thing and I didn’t imagine he was interested in any alliance with us - we needed to get some of these people out in order to survive. Flum & Balki were the most bendable (obviously, they just did whatever to stay alive), so I got them to vote alongside us by promising Balki we’d be in the final 3 together and by giving Flum my white rock. I didn’t really care to have it for myself as I was pretty sure things wouldn’t tie. In fact, ultimately I guess it benefitted me because as much as I’d like ghug here with me, Flum secured me another jury vote. Btw snowy, Flum knew you were going to die and pretended to care but really didn’t do much about it so this fake caring was kind of hilarious.

I self-voted in the last round because I didn’t want to vote ghug or Balki. That’s about it, but I wasn’t really scared that I would be voted out so I just took the risk. I think staying true to my final alliances is important. I think I should win this game.

Flum – I think I played most similarly to Natalie from Blood vs. Waters 2. Maybe? It’s hard to pick for myself.
Demon – Jenn from Worlds Apart
Balki – Albert from South Pacific
Ghug – Jason from BvBvB 2
Snowy – Natalie from Samoa
Ezio - Pete from Philippines
Vash – Aubry from BvBvB 2
Bo - Matty from Gabon
Bozo - Matt from RI
Oztra - ???
Uclabb - Malcolm
Glen -
Byron – Jay from One World
Moscow – Neal from BvBvB 2

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was kidding about the points reason
I picked you out to vote every single round because I knew you would be the least threatening enemy to make
I'll post a response to Fluminator's case on me:

"However, I think he’s overstating his power he had. He wasn’t the reason ghug went home. He wasn’t the reason Vash went home. The round Ezio went home, he literally told me he would sheep my vote that round. He wasn’t the reason you went home. That was almost entirely due to the shenanigans of Ezio. The only round I think where he was in power was the snowy vote-off which I think was actually a tactical blunder."

Fluminator is looking at particular jurors and ascribing credit to people who first said "Let's vote out X."

It's true, I rarely said "Let's vote out X." Frankly, doing that was probably the leading cause of people going home. I was much more subtle. And I frequently said, to everyone, that I would be happy with anyone going home who wasn't me. But I influenced every vote by building up rivalries and pointing people to the answer I wanted. My strength was in positioning the game to my advantage without giving anyone an inclination to vote me out.

It's worth looking again at the survey that opened the final tribe: https://www.quicktopic.com/52/H/H3U9rNmBM2zA3

- I was voted most trustworthy.
- I was tied for most likely to win at final jury.
- I received zero penalty points and was awarded immunity.
- The Tribe choose my awesome name to be its moniker.

This should have put a huge target on my back. But I built up the conflict between Ezio and Flum by making Flum feel threatened by Ezio and making Ezio feel threatened with Flum. It's the same thing I did earlier between Ezio and uclabb.

Flum thinks that he deserves credit for deciding to vote out Ezio. But he made that decision because I kept feeding him information that Ezio wanted Fulminator out when there were five people left. Flum thinks it was my blunder to vote out Snowy at 5, but I asserted myself there because it ensured that I would make it to the final three no matter who won immunity.

But most of all, I reached out and took hold of Fulminator after he mutinied to Sharp. I selected him as an ally, even though he was the one player at that time I had not encountered in the game. I engaged him. I initiated our alliance. I did that because I believed he was one of few people left who would actually bring me to final jury, and that turned out to be true.

Because Flum became my closest ally, he benefited from almost all of my information. I held a few things back -- my relationship with Vashta, and my final three deal with ghug and Demon -- but I told him most of what I knew so that he would value me as an ally.

Fluminator was a great ally to me, and I was a great ally to him. We made many decisions together. But, again, the arrangement was at my initiation. It was my idea. And I think we should reward the person who actively controls his destiny, more than the person who is a beneficiary of someone else's strategic play.
"maybe you should have thought about that before you lied to me the entire game you dipshit"

Perhaps I overestimated you. I believed that you had the self-assurance and grace to award strong play, even if it was at your expense.

Fluminator (1500 D)

@Demon, I like how you say you bended us to vote Ezio, when literally the round before I told you I wanted Vash gone first, than Ezio gone right after. (Part of the reason I was surprised you actually gave me the white rock for voting him) You didn't have a lot of power for most of the merge from my perspective, but I will give credit on the Moscow vote where you were the sole reason he went home. Everyone else (me, ghug, and bo) wanted Oztra gone that round.

@ghug: If you had won immunity at the final 4, what would you have done. Is Balki correct you would have brought him to the final 3?
It's honestly a little silly that Demon is taking responsibility for so many votes. I was in tribes with Demon twice. She was one of the least active, least talkative, least interested players.

I mean, most jurors spent time with Demon on their tribes. And I understand where y'all are coming from: I like Demon a lot as a person. But I guess I imagined people would care more about the game, and someone would step and say something like:

"Demon for sole survivor? Really? Balki played the Hell out of that game."
Durga (3609 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@Flum giving you the white rock worked to my advantage. And don't kid yourself, you were perfectly fine with Moscow. You didn't fight for him at all, just like how you didn't fight for snowy. You knew snowy was going to be voted out and you were pretty much like "okay" - ily but don't play the hero when you just weren't
@Fluminator, ghug has an agenda, so who knows what he will say. But the best evidence I have is Demon's actual vote. She did not vote for me. She voted for herself. That took an awful lot of work, let me tell you. I wrote her a song, for God's sake.
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@Demon: As I said in my opening speech I was okay with Moscow going home. Him going home still benefited my game. But I was pretty active in telling you I would rather have Oztra go.
With regards to snowy, even in the hour leading up to the vote I was telling Balki I think a snowy vote was a very bad idea. I didn't fight for him to you because the only other target not immune was ghug and I knew there was no chance you'd vote for ghug over him.
Durga (3609 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Okay, Balki & Flum are attacking me because they think I'll win - which is fine and their prerogative but a lot of this is kind of bullshit. Balki, you were in my tribe for the FIRST ROUND and then the final tribe. Balkins, I did exactly what I said I did - you weren't even around. I'd pull up the logs if I could. Vash can tell you how pissed he was for when I forced the Chaqa vote. Lol, and the Bo vote.

Here is the song I wrote to Demon to seal our alliance and ensure that I would make the final three no matter who won immunity. It is to the tune of "Hey Delilah." (I played the Hell out of this game! And I'm not sorry.)

Well hey there Demon,
What's it like back in Entente?
I’m alone on Exile Island,
And I miss my confidant.
Yes I do.
I’m sending immunity home to you.
I swear it's true.

Well hey there Demon,
I’m a victim of a tribe swap,
I’m on unfamiliar beaches ,
Like a boujie in an IHOP.
Close your eyes.
Listen to my voice, and be allied,
I'm by your side

Oh you’re in my final threeEEee.
Oh you’re in my final three.
Oh you’re in my final threeEEee.
Oh you’re in my final three.
In my final three.

Well hey there Demon,
As I drink a new concoction,
I may have 500 dollars,
But I can’t buy you in the auction.
Just a clue.
Just to an idol, not to you.
That just won’t do.

Well hey there Demon,
Headed to another tribal,
I’m refreshing the Announcement Thread,
And praying for your survival,
Hold down F5.
Just hoping you can stay alive,
‘Til I arrive.

Oh you’re in my final threeEEee.
Oh you’re in my final three.
Oh you’re in my final threeEEee.
Oh you’re in my final three.
In my final three.

Two tribes apart, that may seem far,
But there’s a merge to where you are,
I'd walk to you if I had no other way.

Vashta and Flum’d make fun of us,
And we'll just laugh along because,
That none of them have been allied this way.

Demon I can promise you,
That by the time this game is through,
Webdiplomacy will never ever be the same,
And you're to blame.

Well hey there Demon,
Now we’ve merged and reunited,
As the fires all around us fade,
Our torches stay alighted,
Cause we’re true.
You'll know it's all because of you,
We can do whatever we want to.

Hey there Demon here's to you
This one's for you

Oh you’re in my final threeEEee.
Oh you’re in my final three.
Oh you’re in my final threeEEee.
Oh you’re in my final three.
In my final three.
Durga (3609 D)

Flum, didn't you have an idol you could have given Snowy if you actually wanted him alive? Did you even tell Snowy he was dying?
Fluminator (1500 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@Demon, I'm attacking both you and Balki :P.
Did you not notice the long post I made saying I think Balki is overstating his control?

Also, it was final 5 demon. There were no idols in play. How the hell did you make it this far if you don't even know that lol.
@Flum,

You keep saying that you wanted to keep Snowy around, but you keep omitting that you wanted to keep him around because you thought he would receive no jury votes.

This is pandering. It seems to have worked.
Plus, that's a catchy tune -- right?

Don't accuse me of hating fun. I love fun!
